Samuel's POV
It has been a month since I went totally insane. I was feeling quite more at ease lately, especially because Jack has been around me a lot more. He even took me along during some meetings, even though some people weren't very pleased by it. They think I shouldn't be there, but Jack keeps insisting I should come along. He thought it would also be a good experience for me. He wanted me to be more involved, because I'm a prince as well. He wants to teach me to how they rule in this kingdom. Not something strange I suppose.
I slowly sat up in the bed and stretched a bit. I looked around, wondering where Jack was. I slowly stood up and frowned slightly. That stupid prince decided to leave me without saying anything! I groaned, feeling annoyed he wasn't there. "I guess I'm going to make my own breakfast." I mumbled to myself and walked over to the closet. I quickly grabbed something comfortable, after all not everything is comfortable, especially because my belly has grown bigger. I looked in the mirror, hoping it would be alright to go out the room like this. I placed my hands on my belly, rubbing it a bit. Ugh... I look huge... Perhaps I do look like a penguin now, the way I walk probably looks ridiculous... I sighed and shook my head a bit. I also noticed my hair was a mess, so it would be a good thing if I brush it. I quickly did that and then I walked out of the room.
My stomach was telling me to eat something soon when I was on my way to the kitchen. I knew they would most likely prepare something for me if I just asked someone, but I felt like making my own breakfast. It's not something Jack prefers, but only I know what I crave for at the moment. Once I reached the kitchen, I noticed there wasn't anyone in there now. Good. That means I have some privacy. I smiled and then I grabbed some ingredients. Of course I couldn't forget the hot peppers, they just really taste good. I made a cheese omelette and added the peppers.
I don't know why Jack worries so much when I make my own breakfast, is he afraid it's not healthy enough? Or is he afraid I would hurt myself...? Perhaps it's just a stupid reason why he doesn't want me to make breakfast on my own. I grabbed the plate with the cheese omelette and utensils. I walked out of the kitchen, nearly dropping the plate and utensils when Jack was standing in front of me.
"Good morning to you too, Sam." He mumbled, looking a bit displeased now. I raised an eyebrow. "... Why were you waiting here..?" I asked him, looking a bit annoyed now. "I thought I made it clear you should ask for someone to make you some breakfast instead of making it yourself..." He told me seriously. "Why..? It's not like I'm going to hurt myself or the children..." I muttered, frowning. "I'm not saying you're going to hurt yourself, I don't want you to wander off on your own... I want to know where you are..!" He told me seriously. "And what if I want to know where you are, Jack?!" I yelled at him. "You're the one who leaves before I'm awake, not me, but you..!" I said, glaring a bit.
There was a silence. We both kept looking at each other... Well, we both seemed to be glaring... I think we both want to be right about this.? Suddenly Jack shook his head and chuckled. "Silly Samuel..." He mumbled, still chuckling a bit. Is he serious...? Why is he laughing about this..?! I could tell I was pouting now. "Why didn't you ask someone where I was?" He said, probably thinking I only wanted to know where he was. I groaned, looking pretty frustrated. "Never mind Jack..." I told him, trying to walk past him to our room. I still needed to eat my breakfast, but my perfect husband didn't let me. "Samuel, seriously... I need to know what is going on." He said. I frowned more. "Can we talk about this later...? My breakfast is getting cold..." I muttered, not wanting to talk about this and I was still feeling hungry.
"I'm afraid we need to talk about this now." Jack said. I groaned, feeling more and more frustrated by now. I tried pushing him away, but he wouldn't bulge. "Jack, seriously... Stop..." I hissed, feeling my eyes were probably glowing in anger. He sighed and then he shook his head. "We'll head back to our room and we'll talk about it after you finished eating..." He said seriously. I rolled my eyes and headed back to our room. I know Jack is protecting me, but he's being overprotective lately... He's probably worried I'm going to do something similar I did last month. The memory was a little blurry, I can't really recall what happened nor why I acted like that. I wouldn't be surprised if father somehow managed to make me like that.... He's up to no good... Maria and Gabriel aren't safe... Neither am I. No one is safe at the moment...
