I stared into his blue eyes. They were fully of concern and love. Love for me? Not likely. He likes- sorry- LOVES Lana. I decided to break the awkwardness and stand up. "Sorry, Hayes. I have to go."
"Would you like me to continue helping you with the project?" Hayes asked as he stood up as well. I hesitated.
I didn't want another Lana interruption like last time. But I want his company, and his help.
"I guess so." I said with a shrug. I wasn't really sure how to answer that.
His blue eyes lit up and he flashed that perfect smile at me. I have to admit, his beauty sometimes takes me back in awe.
He told me that he'd be at my house in two hours and I nodded. Then, he walked away in one direction and I walked away in the other.
My friends Miranda, Avery, Poppy, and Ella all came running up to me with worried looks.
I decided being upset with them wasn't worth it.
"Olivia, we are so sorry we didn't tell you sooner!" Poppy said. I gave them a slight nod.
Two hours later and there's a knock at my front door. I run downstairs to answer it and see Hayes standing there. Smiling.
