(A/N: This chapter was written on my phone)
I like talking to Hayes. When it's just the two of us, talking about random things and acting like weirdos.

I think Hayes is very sweet and fun to be around. He can make me smile and laugh and get butterflies in my stomach.

But he can also break my heart.

We actually finished the project today! We do finished a day before the date it was due, and you better believe I was relived!

"Want to hang out at the park?" Hayes asked. I nodded.

We started walking towards the door, but he stopped me.

"I think I might have feelings for this other girl. I don't know what to tell Lana or what to do." Hayes said with a small sigh.

I felt the jealousy come back again.

But I did my best to hide it.

"Well, if you have other feelings for another girl, you probably don't love Lana." I said with a shrug. I didn't really want to talk about this.

"Okay. I need to talk to Lana. Let's hang out at the park tomorrow." Hayes said as he ran off.

That was weird.

I shut and locked the front door and went to my room.

(A/N: I just realized that there hasn't been any mention of their parents in this book. Also, I've decided to name the teacher Mrs. Roads. I need a last name for Olivia and an idea for the parents. And sorry for the short chapter. I'm doing my best to leave it on a cliff hanger.)
