***LATER AT HOME***

I didn't say anything to Becca. I had just went up to my room and shut the door.

I was so embarrassed and confused.

Why would Hayes do this to me?

I sighed and put my headphones on. I didn't to think about how awful tomorrow would be.

But tomorrow's Friday.

I started to do my homework.

***LATER***

I put my competed homework away and looked at the clock. It was 4:00 in the afternoon and I had extra time.

Extra time that I didn't want to have.

(A/N: The original author of this book, said that Olivia does drama club. I might put that in here? I'm not sure yet.)

I decided to pull out my phone and scroll through my social media feed. I'm not much of a fan of social media. I don't really care about how awesome other people's lives are.

(A/N: I actually like social media.)

I put my phone on the charger and walked downstairs. Maybe there's something that can keep me busy for a while?

When I got downstairs, I couldn't find Becca. I went to the kitchen and saw that she had left a note:

Olivia,

Something sudden has come up. I have to fly back to LA for a week. I've already talked to Elizabeth and she will be able to watch you until I come back. I hope you have a good time at her house. Love you lots!

-Becca

I shook it off. I hope she's okay. I got a text right after I put the note back on the table.

From Hayes: We will pick you up in 1 hour.

To Hayes: Fuck off. You couldn't find anyone else to text me?

From Hayes: We can talk about it when you come over.

To Hayes: IF I come over. I haven't made up my mind yet.

I put my phone down and ignored it. Then, I ran up to my room and started packing everything for a week. I'm really not looking forward to this...

"I can show you to the guestroom." Hayes said.

I ignored him and Hayes sighed. "Please, Liv. You can't be mad at me forever. And even if you will be mad at me forever, I still need to show you to the guest room." Hayes said patiently. I sighed and let him show me to the guest room.

"Thanks for nothing." I mumbled and put my bags on the floor. The room was pretty big. It had a large, circular bed in the middle of the room. I turned around and saw Hayes still standing in the doorway.

"May I help you?" I asked rudely. Hayes nodded and came into my room, shutting the door behind him.

"What happened at school today... that wasn't me." He said. "Oh, so you have a twin brother who looks EXACTLY like you?" I asked sarcastically. Hayes shook his head and let out a small sigh. "I didn't want to breakup with you. I had to." Hayes said after a long moment of silence. "Why?" I finally asked.

"Because they were going to hurt you if I kept dating you." Hayes said, his blue eyes full of love and concern.

"Why did you care?"

"Because I love you."
