We all went to the park when school ended. I was really happy to be with Hayes and all the other girls. They girls are like my sisters and Hayes.... I don't know
He's really perfect.... I don't know how else to explain it. "Let's take a selfie!" Ella said excitedly. We ended up with 20 selfies.
At one point, I sat down at a picnic table. I scrolled through my Twitter and Instagram feed. Hayes sat down next to me and we were soon joined by Ella, Poppy, Avery, and Miranda. "So, as fun as sitting here is..." Poppy said. Her voice trailed off and everyone turned to look in the direction she was looking at.
The popular group.
Headed our way.
None of us have any good experience with the popular group. They don't ever come to the point. We all stood up and moved away.
Except for Hayes.
Hayes just stood there looking down at the ground. I waited for Hayes to come with us. But he didn't. He never did.
Now, Lana and the rest of her squad was here. "Hey, baby." Lana said pecking Hayes' check. I was amazed that Hayes would trick me like that.
I felt my eyes start to water. "Let's just leave." I said starting to walk away. Lana locked lips with Hayes for a few seconds before turning her attention to me. "You should really learn your place in the school." Lana said in an icy cold voice. It sent a shiver up my spin imagining how Lana would get revenge on me.
"Do you have to do anything, you've already embarrassed me." I said making eye contact. Lana had blue eyes that were ice cold and stone hard.
"Yes."
Lana's response was simple and matter-of-fact.
