My Trip To... (ShikaIno)

Day 4 - 'Arabian Nights'

Naruto came bouncing in with a pizza in his arms and other junk foods strategically placed on top of the box. Sakura on the other hand came in slower with a couple of bottles in her hands and a smile. 

A smile that damped at the sight of her friend. While Naruto was as oblivious as always, Sakura noticed something was off with her best friend. She mouth the words, "What's wrong?" as the boys went to find cups for all of them. 

Ino shook her head and softly told Sakura, "I'll tell you later." But Ino wasn't sure what there was to tell. She was just as confused at this moment as she glanced at the back of Shikamaru's head. Sakura seemed to accept Ino's answer as she moved to put down the liquor bottles. 

"They sell moonshine at EPCOT!" Naruto gleefully declared as he ran over to the table. "We got the flavours, apple pie and peach cobbler."

"They just sound too good to pass up," Sakura nodded as she started pouring them all drinks. 

Ino was about to mention that Shikamaru probably had enough when he quickly grabbed at the first cup. So much for stopping him...

She watched as he started into his drink before grabbing at her own.

"They are so good," Sakura hummed after her first sip.

Ino nodded before turning to Sakura. "Where is everybody else?"

Shikamaru frowned as Naruto said, "Sasuke decided to wait for Choji so we left him since Sakura wanted to make sure you two were okay."

It made sense to Ino but she couldn't help but think it was sweet of Sasuke to watch over their last member of the group who was busy with a date. She smiled. "Well I'm glad nobody was ditched."

Shikamaru rolled his eyes as he took another drink.

"Man, what were you guys doing?" Naruto complained as he picked up the remote. "The TV's not even on! They actually have some awesome stuff on these." He began to flipping through channels at a brilliantly speed.

Ino blushed at Naruto's question. "Nothing. Shikamaru was just being an idiot..." she muttered while ignoring the dark look she got from Shikamaru. 

"Why did you guys leave early?" Sakura asked. She seemed more than just a little curious as she raised her eyebrows significantly at Ino. But the blonde was quick to brush her off. She guessed Shikamaru really must look better after getting some food in his system if Sakura wasn't able to guess the answer.

"Shikamaru got stupidly drunk!"

"What?" Naruto and Sakura turned to stare at Shikamaru. "But you never get drunk!"

"I wasn't that bad..." Shikamaru grunted.

Ino huffed in disbelief. "He almost threw up on the bus ride home..."

"Really?" Naruto smirked as Sakura made a face.

"I didn't..."

"I had to haul his ass home..." Ino murmured into her drink with a smirk, not caring if she was making him mad. She was still angry with him for keeping stuff from her. She had no doubt about that any longer. She thought she had fixed it the other day but there was obviously still more he was hiding from her. She was getting sick of playing this game. Why couldn't he just tell her?

"Really?" It was then Naruto started to laugh as Shikamaru just shook his head at the lot of them. "I can't believe I missed that," Naruto snickered before finally calming down.

"Well let's get him drunk now," Sakura teased as she grabbed for the remote from Naruto's hand. She flipped through a few channels before an advertisement that said 'Disney's Aladdin' would be up next. "Ooh Aladdin!"
