Ruby's PoV

"He looks so peaceful sleeping on the ground." I said. "Not...in a weird way? Right Ruby?" Weiss said it in a defensive manor. Was she...jealous? "Oh come on! What do You mean he's a monster he just saved your sorry a..." "That's enough Blake!!!" I cut Blake off from finishing her sentence. None of use were aware that a little over 90% of the school was in the court getting ready to defend the school. The bully Cardin Winchester was saying something about Luna but Blake was in his way. Ozpin walked over to Luna and me. I didn't say anything but stared at him. "Cardin..." He said softly, looking at me then to Cardin. Cardin looked at Ozpin. "Yes sir?" "Why don't you carry him to the infirmary? Nora, Ren, and Ruby will follow you..." With that, Cardin just sighed and did as he was told.

Walking with Cardin was really awkward. I was tempted to ask Nora to carry him and tell Cardin to leave but never did. Luna seemed so...small. Yea he was the same age as me but he seemed...big and intimidating when he was using his mask and fighting the grim. Ren tapped my shoulder knocking me out of my thoughts. "Are you ok Ruby?! You walked right passed us and the infirmary like you where on autopilot!!!" She seemed cheerfully worried? If you can even do that. I smiled at them. "Just deeply lost in thought sorry..." We walk into the infirmary. Cardin had his mace in his hand and Luna was...was...wearing his grim mask. "Oh no..." I flashed in front of Cardin and knocked him back. "L-Luna?!?!" He simply smiled and got closer to me. I pulled Crescent Rose put and aimed at him. "P-please..." He stared at me and got closer still. I couldn't move for some reason. Fear? Maybe. Even closer. My heart was pounding so bad, I could barely hear Nora and Ren yelling at me to move.

Luna's PoV

Standing this close to Ruby was as awkward as it was nice. I placed my hands on her cheeks and shot aura through them, forming half a grim mask like mine. Instantly she began screaming, dropping crescent rose and held her head. I wrapped my arms around her to keep her from hurting anyone but me. For a long while, she just thrashed and kicked, until Yang yelled out to her. She froze long enough for me to rip her mask off. Then she passed out. Taking my mask off, I held her with one arm setting her down on a bed. I pick her mask up and set it next to her. "What the hell are you doing to her!!" Yang yelled as she caught fire. "This is rather interesting, isn't it?"
