Ruby's PoV
Was I really the only one on team RWBY that wasn't angry at Luna? I know he didn't mean to do it. "L-Luna? Are you...ok?" Everyone looks at me then stare at him. He doesn't say anything, he just sits there staring at the floor. "Luna? D-do you really not miss anyone... Feel attached to people?" He flinches at that. "Well I don't think I've ever felt those emotions... So I wouldn't know. And no I don't miss my...'family.'" I sigh depressingly. He looks at me coldly, tilting his head to the side. I smile at him. "Why would you come to a place where you have to work with people, if you don't care for people." Nora ask loudly. "Haha. I care about people's lives. I just don't feel attached to anyone." His team seemed bothered by that statement, as did I.
Maybe I could help him change? "Well, you should learn... It's really helpful and fun!" Everyone but him smiles. Maybe this was a bad idea... "Hmph." He gave the smallest smile. Almost as if he was saying 'good luck!' "I accept that challenge!" I half yell at him. Everyone gives me a weird face. "First you should accept the challenge of 'getting better.'" He says in a voice that made everyone shiver. Soft...and...warm... "W-whoa... My mask just said..." Weiss cuts me off. "What was with your voice just now?!" She seemed agitated. He tilts his head again. "Your voice was..." Weiss started. "Soft and warm..." Blake finishes for her. I half yell, "That's what my mask said!!" He got slightly red. "U-um. I...I didn't mean to?" He clearly didn't know his voice changed. Yang walks over to him with her hand balled. "Y-yang!! What are you doing?!" She places her hand on his head softly. He flinches waiting for her to hit him, or squeeze his head like a lemon. Instead she starts to pet him. He opened his eyes wide, but he also relaxed greatly. You could see his whole body just loose tension.
"U-um... What?" He looked like he was gonna fall asleep then yang stopped. "Aw..." He said almost inaudibly. "Your still like a little puppy. Well I don't know if that will every change." A new voice slurred at the door. "Well if isn't the dusty old man..." Luna says sleepily.
