Springing up out of my bed, my sheets spreading everywhere, I rushed over to my door. Hastily pressing my ear against the smooth, wooden surface, holding my breath as long as I can to listen to any voices coming from my siblings rooms.
Nothing.
There's' no noises, literally nothing. This house is almost as quiet as a graveyard. It's dead. Nobody is making any noise, not even the slightest bit! Leaning my back against the door now, a bird outside sitting on a tree branch caught my attention. "Outside!" I yelled, striding over to my window, I scan the backyard and my neighbor's yard wide eyed.
Nothing.
"What the Hell? If they aren't in here and they aren't in either of the yards, where could they all be? I mean, they would be making a lot of noise if they were close by, right?" I asked aloud. Looking around the backyard again, I slowly turned around and slumped myself up against the wall and slid down until my butt had hit the ground. Laying my face in the palms of my hands, arms resting on my knees, where could they be? This house isn't that big, so I should be able to easily find them. Standing from my seated position, I wipe my hands on my pockets and start to walk out of my room, investigating where my siblings could be.
I ran down the steps, a thud sound each time I take a step, stopping on the landing and getting an overview of the downstairs. Nowhere to be seen. Circling through the living room, looking behind every door that would end up in my view, marching into the back room a couple of times, and even wandering into the bathroom and looking behind the shower curtain. Nobody was to be found. Huffing, I stomped over to my couch, looking out the window that sat behind it.
"Okay if I were my siblings where would I be?" Pondering for a couple more seconds only one answer came to my mind, "treehouse." Trying to act and look as nonchalant as I possibly could, I practically sprinted outside to our new treehouse, heading up the ladder, and knocking on the door.
Nothing.
Barging inside, nobody is behind the closed door. "Okay seriously where the hell are they?" Frustrated, yet again, I sulked back down the ladder and headed inside once again. Walking back to my couch I plopped myself down, pulling my phone out of my back pocket, I began to scroll through Twitter. "This is stupid, I shouldn't even be looking for her. I'm so creepy. Locking my phone screen, gently placing it in my pocket where it was before I started my way up the stairs, turning the corner to walk inside my room, there's voices. I tiptoe to my brother's room and put my ear against the wooden door.
"Luke! What the heck! I'm on your team!" An unfamiliar voice yells. Luke chuckles aloud, the girl hysterically laughing.
"So are you the mysterious older brother that I have heard so much about or a really terrible stalker?" A female voice asked behind me. Alarmed, I straightened my back out and turned around.
There she was. Standing right in front of me, smirking. Wow. Quick Niall think. Think of something quick to say. She's saying nothing, she's staring at me, waiting for me to answer. Okay Niall, any day now, saying something is much better than saying nothing.
"Well if I were a stalker, I would be a pretty great one considering they don't know I'm out here listening to their conversations." Ah good one Niall, way to go. Great thinking.
Smiling, "Well that might be true, but since I was in there with them and I will be going back in there to be with them, your stalking skills are slightly lacking considering here we are having a conversation.
Damn it. Great point neighbor. Great point. Looking for words to say, about to speak but she beat me to it.
"Ha, see I gotcha there. Now I'm guessing you're the infamous brother that I've heard oh so much about. Your mom is a real talker. Don't get me wrong, she seems like a really sweet lady but when all she talks about you within the first 10 minutes of me knowing her, it seems as if I have known you for five years already." she cheekily stated. I stared at her, doe eyed. A playful look in her eyes sparkled a certain way, of course my mom did that. Why wouldn't she right? Before I even meet the cute girl next door, my mom beats me and manages to already embarrass me. Why not?
Before I could say anything, she slipped past me and was already in the room, the door separating me from her.
Nice.
The door quickly opened again and she popped her head out, "Just a heads up, your mom is arranging our wedding and I don't know about you, but that was the first I heard of my wedding. So I thought of warning you." She winked, and brought her head back into my brothers room and with that she was gone.
Okay, so I redid this chapter because it was awful, and I decided to try and update this story as much as possible since it's starting to get votes and what not ((:
Hey friends, so I just wrote the next chapter and I want to give a heads up o guess. Idk how old my readers are, but just know it might get a little graphic and what not. I mean as of right now it's not bad, but I am trying to portray Niall as a typical teenage boy instead of the perfect boy like most stories portray him as. So just keep that in mind.
