"Yo Brian, do you wanna go outside and play soccer with me?" I asked, pushing through the door, stopping in front of the tv. He looked up from television considering I was blocking most of the screen, he looked at the clock

5:52

It should be getting dark soon and dinner will be ready so he better make his decision quick. "Yea, let's go play."

"Cool. Go put some sneakers on and meet me outside." Trudging out the door and down the stairs I looked for Kota, she probably wants to play. "Yo Kota! Are you coming with?" I yelled down the stairs, not really sure of where she is located at. "Kota, where are you?" I called out, walking through the hall, she rolled out into the entry way of the office in the office chair,

"Where ya going?"

"Outside, to play soccer with Brye." She sat in the chair for a few seconds, making her decision and shrugged her shoulders.

"Yea I guess, don't have anything better to do. Let's go!" she bent down grabbing her sneakers at the front door and walked out holding them in her hands. I picked up my sneakers and followed her actions, stopping at the front door, holding the screen door opened with my body, "Brye! Kota and I will be outside!" I called up to him and jumped out of the door, onto the ground.

I strolled over to where Kota sat herself down, staring at the ground, searching for rocks that I could potentially step on and hurt my feet with. Successfully making it over to Kota, plopping myself down next to her, I started to put my black and white Nike Roches on. I could feel eyes on me, like every inch of my movement is being examined underneath a microscope, looking around my yard I didn't see anybody or anything.

Tree, bush, nothing in the road, no body home at the neighbors, what the hell. Maybe mother is watching from the living room, just kidding she isn't in there...Why the hell do I feel like a cell being examined underneath a microscope in a science lab?

"Kenz, Kenzie, Kenz!" Kota yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts, I looked around the yard and the street another time before turning to her.

Maybe she was the one watching me?

"Were you staring at me?" accusing her for the feeling that was itching at my skin.

She looked taken back, "What?" I stared back at her, I probably seemed crazy right now, she probably thinks I haven't taken my medicine today..

"Were you watching me? While I was sitting here..?" I asked, my voice more gentle now. She looked at me, concern growing on her face, she took a deep breath and cautiously shook her head no. Pouting, my lip jutted forward and my arms crossed across my body, "fine, then who-"

"Let's play soccer!" Brye shouted, bursting through the two doors, jumping from the top of the steps and onto the grass; his landing not so good. He stumbled from the ground and kicked the ball at Kota and I.

"6.7"

"6.5"

Brian looked disappointed by our scores but bowed anyway and sprinted up to the edge of our lawn and then to stand in front of the fence, taking goalie position. I smiled, pushing myself up from the ground and ran towards him, dribbling the soccer ball, pretending there was defenders, and finally kicked the ball on him, it tipped his fingers but went passed him.

"GOOOAL! HA! TAKE THAT BRIAN 1 FOR 1!" I yelled, running around the yard, pretending I was Ronaldo, lifting my sweatshirt above my head. I turned around to face Brian and he looked 100% done with my shit and Kota was dying of laughing,

"Can we continue now?" he asked impatiently. I chuckled, "sure, are you ready for me to score on you again?" He looked at me, "how about you be goalie?" he suggested, I shrugged my shoulders, pushing him out of the way and got into position.

"Okay Brye, take your best shot, but I promise it won't go in." trash talking him, he started his motion to kick, it came at me, I punched it out so it wont get by, and it went over the fence.

"Ugh good job guys, you got the ball in their yard on the second kick. New record." Dakota faked cheered and congratulated us, "shut up. We will get it. Mom wants us to introduce ourselves anyway."

"I think we hit somebody." Dakota and I stopped walking and looked at Brian, "What?" we asked in sync, staring at him, he looked at the fence where the ball was kicked over. "I heard somebody say ow".

Kody and I looked at each other and we both thought the same thing, we ran over to the fence and banged on it, "Hey if anybody is over there can you throw our ball back over?" we yelled in unison. We all waited a couple of seconds and the ball reappeared, wide eyed, we looked at the ball ad then each other and we all smiled.

"If we hit you with the ball we're sorry, it was an accident!" Brian yelled over, us waiting for a response.

"It's okay! It didn't hurt that bad!" a little girl's voice came from the other side, bewildered we all looked at each other, "hey what's your name?" Brian asked, it took her a couple seconds to answer, it sounded like she was whispering to somebody.

"My name is Lacey and my brother Luke is sitting next to me." We all looked at each other smiling, she sounds like my brother's age, this could work.

"Do you guys wanna come play soccer with us?" I asked. Luke and Lacey took no time to hesitate, "Yea we will be over in a few seconds!"
