Finding Your True Mate

Chapter 16 Part 1

Derek’s POV

When my phone rang and I saw it was Michelle a smile lit up my face. I slid my finger across the screen and before I even put the phone to my ear I could hear something was wrong with Michelle. After I said Hello and I heard her crying out I became on high alert. “Derek….I need help…..I’m in so much pain” I growled and Haji wanted to be released to destroy whoever could be harming our mate.

I had to calm down. I needed to make Michelle calm down “Michelle? Baby what’s wrong.” I could hear her phone drop on the ground and land with a thud. I wanted to yell out but I bit my tongue. “My head, it feels as if it will explode.” I heard faintly.

 I yelled into the phone “I’m on my way, go in a dark room and close the door.” The less light she’s exposed to and the less noise she’s around maybe it will help. I hung up the phone and started yelling down the stairs. I mind linked Carol and told her something was wrong with Michelle and that she was in charge until I get back. I rushed into the woods and transformed into my wolf. With me being an alpha I was faster and stronger than most wolfs. If it took Carol 1 hours and some change to get to her house than it would take me about half that time to get to Michelle, but with it being our mate I know Haji would run faster than normal.

I just saw blurs of green and trees I didn’t even know where I was but somehow I trusted Haji to get us to where we needed to be. With mates were like magnets were pulled to each other no matter how far away if our mate needs us we will be there in a heartbeat.

When I got to Michelle’s house I shifted back to human form and grabbed some clothes Carol left behind just in case someone came from the pack house to watch over Michelle. I didn’t knock on the door I just hoped it was unlocked. When I turned the knob I was disappointed to find out that it wasn’t.  “You got to be kidding me…”  I let out a breath. I was so close to her yet so far. Since I traveled in my wolf form I didn’t even think to bring my cell phone. I mind linked Carol.

“Carol I need you to call Michelle’s phone and see if she can unlock the front door for me.”

“Yes, Alpha” I looked around the front door to see if there were any hidden keys around the door. “Alpha she isn’t answering her phone. Is everything all right?”

“Shit” I had to find another way in. I ran around the house and finally saw my way in. A balcony door was open just my luck. I listened to hear if anyone was in the room, and what I heard was actually someone crying. In an instant I knew it was Michelle. I backed up a couple of steps and ran toward the wall. With the momentum I was running at I placed my foot and ran up the wall, then grabbed up to the bottom of the balcony and pulled myself up. When my feet touched the ground I was pushed the curtain’s that were in the way of the room and what I saw broke my heart.

There in the middle of the floor was Michelle and she was crying her eyes out. I started to approach her and when she heard someone else in the room with her, her eyes instantly met mine. She started to wipe her tears and try to put herself together. “Derek….Your here…” I slowly approached her

“Of course I’m here. You worried me when you called earlier. Are you okay?” I got down on the floor and pulled her to me and that when I started to check her for any signs of injuries.

“My head, it was killing me and it was the worst kind of pain I ever felt. I was scared that I was going to die alone.” I tightened my hold on her and pulled her to my chest.

“Do you know what caused this pain?” She snuggled closer into me and I felt whole. Her body was meant for mine. We were like puzzle pieces and we fit and I loved it.

She pulled away and looked me straight in the eyes. “Derek, I need to tell you something, but please don’t look at me differently or treat me any differently, because honestly I need someone to help me through this and I don’t know if I can handle doing it alone.”

“Michelle, this is me were talking about. You might not know a lot about me but what you should know right now is that no matter what happens or what anyone says they can’t scare me off because I don’t judge people I never have never will. So whatever it is don’t think it’s going to scare me off”

Michelle’s POV

After hearing what Derek said to me about not judging people it made me feel a little bit better, but not by much? I look up into his eyes and he cupped my face and I leaned into his touch. I needed some comfort I needed affection from someone.  He caressed my cheek with his thumb and I looked up into his stormy grey eyes. I thought I felt a vibration coming from his chest but maybe I was over thinking things now. Derek started to lean his face towards me and I wanted to feel his lips on mine. I wanted him to run his tongue on my lower lip and ask for entrance but what I really want is to feel his hands on my body.

Our lips were about to touch when I faintly heard a ringing sound. Derek started to pull back. “You should probably get that. I know I asked Carol to call you so maybe it’s her”. He looked around “Um, where is it?”

“I threw it when my dad didn’t answer his phone.” Crap it could be my dad. I quickly jumped out of my position and headed towards the sound. When I finally found it whoever was calling was being sent to voice mail. I swiped the bottom of the phone and saw I had 5 missed calls form a number I didn’t recognize. Then I saw the person who just called me was Rachelle.

Derek walked over to me and looked over my shoulder. “Those 5 missed calls are form Carol. If you want you can save her number…you might need it in the future” I nodded my head and quickly saved the number. I started to feel pressure build up in my head and I grabbed Derek’s arm for stability

“Derek its happening again.” I said as I winced from pain. Derek lifted me in bridal style and carried me into my walk in closet and closed the door behind him and sat on the floor and placed me on his lap. He ran his hand through my hair and murmured sweet words. I didn’t know how long these pain waves were going to last but each time I felt a rush of pain I quickly turned my head into the crook of Derek’s neck and closed my eyes and breathed in his scent.  It claimed me down a bit but then the last of the pains shot through me and I couldn’t hold back. I let out a muffled scream as I bit into Derek shoulder. Derek just rocked me back and forth and told me he was here and that he wasn’t leaving.  Just hearing those words made the pain suffice.

“I think it’s over.” He brushed the hair out of my face and placed his forehead against mine.

“Are you sure?” I nodded my head and then I faintly felt his lips on mine. It was a small peck on the lips but it awoke something in me. The light shining through the bottom of the door was enough for me to see his face. I lifted my arms to wrap themselves around his neck and brought his face down to mine.

I know i uploaded so soon....Whats the occasion well MY BIRTHDAY is on monday and im going to be busy running to stores and planning and cleaning so i wont have time to write and upload....i know so sad.

NEWAYS sooo this chapter is going to be BIG like i know some of you want some interactions between Derek and Michelle and i think or i at least hope this is will satisfy you readers. There will be a BIG momment in part 2 if im feeling up to writing again ill post it up but untill then i really dont knwo when ill update.

Oh and dont worry we will find out who MR. or MS unknown POV is in this chapter as well.....
