As everyone was walking out Nyla stopped to look up at the giant doors. Then started sniffing around. Cori came up behind her with a torch "Have you lost something?" Nyla looked either side of the door "Nope. just trying to find something" she barked as she ran over to the right side of the door. Tilting his head Cori followed her with the torch to help her see. She found a black cloth draped over something. "This is it" she barked with excitement. Everyone turned to look at what she was doing. She uncovered the object creating a dust cloud. It was a switch. She jumped and placed all of her weight on the switch. As it clicked into place the giant door began to open. A cold breeze came in as the door opened. "Its called a draw bridge, this is what opens it." She barked while tapping her paw on the switch. "You are very smart madam. Almost like a fox." Borawark barked while studying the switch. Queen Oma came out of the meeting room to see what the commotion was. "Who did this?" She barked. "Nyla, your highness." Barked Cori. "I see." She barked back, "i knew id made the right choice for my assistant." Nyla made a slight smile. "Misha, Borawark, and Alexi, head out to do your jobs. The rest of you head to your rooms for now" Queen Oma barked. "Yes your highness." Everyone barked back. Misha looked up at the sky and tilted her head. The sky seemed clear and birds were flying above chirping. Then she barked, "Bodder may i follow you?" He turned to look at her. "Sure, but dont you have a job to do?" He barked. "Yeah but i dont know exactly how to do it..." Misha barked pawing at the ground. Alexi laughed, " its a dogs natural instinct to be able to tell if bad weather is coming." "Well...i guess im not natural." Misha barked sadly then sighed. "Im not helping you honey. You need to figure it out on your own." Alexi barked then ran off into the forrest. Bodder began to walk off and Misha followed. Misha continued looking at the sky confused and before she knew it she had been separated from Bodder. "Help!!!" She heard a voice cry. She ran towards it only to find Bodder with a rabbit in his mouth. Bodder put down the rabbit and barked, "what is it?" "I-i heard someone cry for help." She barked out of breath. "I didnt hear anything." He barked back then picked up the rabbit and walked back to the castle. "But i was so sure..." She said quietly. She walked in circles confused. Trying to figure out what she had heard. "Is that...Orochu?" Something whispered. Mishas ears pricked up trying to figure out where the voice came from. It was a different one from earlier. "Of corse not stupid. Its female." Another voice replied. The voices were coming from above. Misha looked up. "Then maybe its Orochus daughter. Because look, she can hear us." "Who are you?" Misha barked. Two blue jays flew down till they were eye level with Misha. "Im Nora and this is Nida. We are pleased to meet you Orochu's daughter." "Wait...how am I talking to you guys? Animals from different species cant talk to eachother. And who is Orochu?" Misha barked in confusion. Nora answered, " Orochu is a red husky who was blessed with the ability to talk to any species. We liked to refer to him as king of the forest. You look exactly like him and have the same ability so we assume you are his daughter." "But i wasnt able to understand any of you till now." She barked back, "just a little while ago I could only hear birds chirping. So whats going on?" "...we dont know." Chirped Nida. Misha bolted off. The birds tried to fly after her but were stopped by a giant blue feathered bird as big as a peacock. The birds looked up to it in fear. "Was that who i thought it was?" The giant bird squawked. "Y-y-y-yes ma'am....Orochu's daughter" Nida chirped trembling. "Interesting" the giant bird watched Misha running away in the distance.
Misha ran strait up the stairs, past Hanovi, who was mopping, and into her room. Out of breath she paced back in forth in her room for a bit. Then jumped on the bed and tried to close her eyes and forget everything that had happened. Hanovi quietly put her mop down and peeked her head in the door to see if Misha was ok. Then decided to walk in, "Are you ok Misha?" She barked. "Yeah im fine....can i have some time alone?" Misha barked back. " ok, night Misha" hanovi barked as she walked out the door. "Night" misha barked back quietly, burying herself deeper into her bed.
