At sunset Clairine flew to the top of the castle. Cori was already there waiting for her. She lighted down next to him. They sat in silence for a while watching the sunset till Cori barked, "So what was being away from the castle like?" Clairine sighed, "Awful...Alkie woke me up early for her "training" every morning. It was stuff I dont think that I really need to know. We also argued every single day. I hated her." Cori tilted his head. "What was she trying to teach you?" She pawed at the ground, "Combat." "Really?!", Cori's ears pricked up and his tail started to wag, "Thats great! It will come in handy for you someday I can promise you that." "You think so?....Im really bad at it though." Cori placed his paw on Clairines back, "No worries I'll protect you." Clairine smiled, "Thanks" she looked up at the sky then back at Cori, "better get back to my mom...shes probably waiting for me." She stretched her wings and prepared for flight. "Alright, night" "night"
Meanwhile the blue jays of the forest were in a meeting. The large blue bird was tweeting an announcement, "Tomorrow my little friends, is the day! The day that us not migrating will be payed off. So sleep well my friends! As for tomorrow you will no longer have to feel the cold!" All the birds cheered, then flew off to their nests to get some rest.
The next day all the dogs and wolves in the castle were informed of a meeting and came to the meeting hall. Clairine peeked through the doors. "Where is Orochu, Miki, Devon, Ren, and dad?" She barked. "They are dead Clairine. Orochu was the traitor, everyone else died honorably in battle." Tears started to appear in Clairines eyes and her ears folded. "Dont cry! Your about to be on stage." She growled. Clairine cleared up her tears. Marasu began to announce that they were about to come in, "I now present to you, the queen and her daughter!" Everyone bowed their heads and the doors opened. Cori placed a second throne next to Omas while Queen Oma and Claine were walking the red carpet to the chairs. As soon as they sat everyone looked up. "Good Morning everyone, the reason for our meeting this morning is for me to introduce my daughter to all who have not met her, Princess Clarine." Afew dogs/wolves howled. Princess Clarine waved with a smile. Oma glared at her then cleared her throat, "And also to introduce Alcanerian, an old friend of mine" she bowed her head. Quuen Oma began to speak again, "Since we are all here this time of morning why dont we eat breakfast together, Borawark." "Yes your highness?" He barked back. "Could you bring us all some rabbit to munch on." "Yes your highness ill be on it immediately." He barked as he darted off to get the food prepared. Everyone chatted while they waited. When he came back everyone thanked him and began to eat. When he was done giving out everyones food he took his hat off for a second then put it back on as if to say, 'Your welcome'. Clarine ate loudly and so did Alcanerian. Queen Oma looked at the two of them disturbed. "Alkie what did you teach my child?" "Well you should know im not very ladylike." Alcanerian barked back, wiping her mouth of food with her paw. Some dogs chuckled. Not much else was said at the meeting. Once everyone was done eating they were all dismissed. Misha went outside to ask if there was a chance of the snow letting up soon. The deer told her it would be a day or two before it would stop. She went off to go find Queen Oma to find she wasnt in her room, so she headed upstairs and found that Queen Oma and Alcanerian were having a laugh together while watching the snow gently falling out the window. Misha walked up to Oma, "Your highness, the weather is...your highness?" She barked in confusion. Queen Omas eyes were suddenly fixated on what was out the window. Misha looked. There were a ton of blue birds hovering above the trees all facing towards the castle. "Misha...." Queen Oma barked slowly as if she was trying to hold something back. "....yes your highness?" Misha barked back questionably. "You!" Queen Oma growled as she turned around flattening her ears and showing her teeth, "You did this!!" "No i..." "Of corse you did! Your father did the same thing! Turned the animals on us!" Misha backed up with her tail between her legs, "but i..." "SHUT UP!!! I CANT BELIVE I TRUSTED YOU!!! CORI!!!" Cori flew over quickly, "yes your highness?" "Take this traitor to the prison cell underground now!" She growled. Queen Oma looked so infuriated even Cori was scared of her. He quickly picked up Misha and flew down the stairs. Marasu opened the underground valt so Cori could fly in and they locked her up. It was dusty, dark and hot. No sunlight or breeze would come through unless the door was open. They closed it after them. Misha was left in the dark....alone.
