Chapter 6 - The Horse Ranch

Louis P.O.V:

The girls gave us quite a surprise with the Ranch. I mean they did say that they were rich but come on. They own a horse ranch.  A RANCH!

Since there were only two cars left we decide to split up. Destiny is driving with me shot gun, Harry and Zayn at the back seat. The ride is silent as all of us are lost in our own thoughts.

“Oh. Where’s El?” I ask suddenly remembering her.

“She’ll meet us there” Des replies curtly while looking at the road and clutching the steering wheel as if her life depended on it.

“Oh. Okay” I say while shifting nervously.

“Sorry but please don’t talk to me while driving.” She apologizes.

“I can see you’re afraid but what’s up?” Zayn asks before I could.

“Well you must have noticed that, I and June didn’t go home to get our cars.” She pauses and gulps while we nod our head.

“Now that I think about it. You didn’t go.” Zayn says while looking at her confused.

"YOU STOLE THE CARS??” I scream scaring everyone.

“WHAT THE HELL? NO I DID NOT!” Des says while turning her head to glare at me.

"THEN WHY ARE YOU SO SCARED?" Louis panickes.

"BECAUSE I'M STILL NEW AT THIS. I GOT MY DRIVER'S LICENSE TWO MONTHS AGO!"

“LOOK AHEAD. WE’RE ABOUT TO HIT THE CAR!” Harry screams pointing ahead.

“AHHH!!!” All of us scream together while Des lets go of the steering wheel closing her eyes. Like the superhero that I am, I grab the wheel and swerve past the car.

"Your most welcome." I say.

"Oh shut up Louis. Destiny calm down." Harry says looking like he could pass out any moment.

“Destiny. Drive.” I say looking at her as she finally stops shaking, takes a few breath and drives.  

“Sorry guys.” She apologizes.

“Wow. Let’s do that again” Zayn laughs.

All of us start laughing with him.

“That was a hell of a car ride.” Harry says running his fingers through his hair.

“Okay. So let’s continue. You were saying.” Harry says while looking at Destiny waiting for a reply.

“Oh… yeah so you see these cars are El’s babes and she will not hesitate to kill us if she knows something happened to them.” She shudders. 

Half an hour later...

Finally we reach the destination. It is quite far from the city but beautiful none the less. There are trees everywhere and I can see a huge fence over the area which has a podium and rows of seats at one side. I guess we can use the whole place. I turn to see that others have already started walking ahead. That is when I notice that there is a building close by. It wasn’t tall probably it only has two floors but it is huge. I finally see a signboard which says - 'Hayley'

I snap out of my daze as Zayn pats my shoulder and nods his head to the direction of the building.

I look up to see glass windows covering the second floor. I see June waving while the lads are nowhere to be seen.

 June’s P.O.V.:

We reach the place fifteen minutes earlier than Des, I know she is scared that something might happen to the car but that doesn’t give her the right to drive like Granny. The lads decide to play pool and leave me on my own.
