~*~*~*~*Lorenzo~*~*~*~*
I see myself before the mirror. Great. I’m nervous.
I get my collar fixed and my hair done. Once I came out of the bathroom, Facundo blocked my way. “You’re not going out with that hair! Fix it!” he said. “But that’s fixed,” I scratch my head. “You look hideous,” Iker said.
Then what the heck do they want?
Finally, Alejandro offered to fix my hair. He got me a stool to sit on as he fixes my hair. A lot of gel was put on my hair and he brushes it all the way to the tips. “There,” he’s finally done.
I looked at the mirror. I must say, it’s better than my fix before.
“Better?” I ask and they all nodded. “Alright men,” I stood up. They all caught my attention, “You ready?” They said a loud yes and roared again with, “Glory to the Teniente General!”
“Okay,” I snapped them out. “Let’s roll.” They all grab their instruments and we did a final practice.

We went outside and we felt that it’s breezing cold. On our way to Esperanza’s house, Facundo asked me several questions, “You know your lines?” I nodded.
“You know how to sing it?” I nodded. “You know that it’s for your Esperanza?” I smiled. “Of course I do,” I added then he patted my back.
Here we are. We are in front of their house. It’s beautifully decorated and it’s more beautiful than the last time I went here since morning. Garlands were running around their front door and white paints became more visible and cleaner. Their trees had formed different shape, which is somewhat kind of circle.
They all pat my back as a sign of good luck. I nod them and gave them a signal to start.
This is it. Narciso started to strum his guitar. I waited for my part and sang,
“The night is calm and here I come
Wondering if you’re awake and attuning to me
If so Esperanza,
Let your beating heart listen to the blaze of my love”
I turned to Facundo and I see him smile.
“Go on, you’re good,” he whispers.

As I was reading in my bed, someone was strumming the guitar. The man singing had a familiar voice. He called my name…its Lorenzo, my dear love!
It’s already midnight. No wonder they broke the curfew. I got my feet on the ground and brushed my ruined hair. I walked towards the balcony and opened the door.
Lorenzo sees me, he smiled. I smiled too, but rolled my eyes as I wave my fan on my right hand. He smiled bigger when I wave my fan. I don’t know why.
