"What, did he mean "It's you?" I whispered to myself throwing myself down on my bed. I stared up at my roof letting my mind wonder. Boys, are so confusing! i whimpered frustrated. "BEEP BEEP" my phone rang. I jumped from my bed and grabbed my phone, Mums number flashing across the screen.

"Hey, Mum." I smiled into the phone clutching it tightly to my ear.

"Hey, Kido how are things in the big apple?" She asked excitement in her voice.

"Oh ya-no, it's cool"

"So, your Dad called he told me you auditioned for a role of something?" She questioned her voice hopeful. "Oh... yeah, i got a role mum! I cheered into the phone mentally arguing with myself for forgetting to tell her. "Congratulations!" Mum roared into the phone so loudly i had to pull the phone away from my ear. "Ha-ha, thanks Mum." I grinned pleased with myself.

"I'm so proud of you sweetie!" she whispered down the phone her voice husky. "Awe, mum don't cry!" I whimpered tightening my grip to my phone. "Tears of joy, honey, tears of joy!" Mum laughed sweetly. "Good, i smiled my cheeks tightening.

"Well, i'm glad your having fun."

I am, i'm having a really good time... I miss you, I sighed i did miss my mum more than anyone could ever know. "I miss you most, Mum whispered silently. I went silent for a moment just listening to the sound of her breathing. "Well, i'll let you get on, good night baby."

"Night, mum..." I smiled lightly hanging up the phone.

- I really missed her..."

The Drive home was silent. I was eating myself up. "Why, didn't i just come out with it and tell her i like her? I snapped at myself hitting the steering wheel. "Well i was but she blew me off, what was her problem anyway? - I sighed and pulled up onto my drive way. "Maybe, she wants us to just be friends? - I don't know what she wants. Girls are so damn confusing."
