Little Bella

Bella is 16

*Bella*
I walk around outside pacing waiting for Rosalie to get out here, I have not been able to go inside all day and now it is getting annoying. Heck I haven't even been able to change into normal clothes, I am in my pajamas. I stop pacing as I hear a huge crash rumble through the house. I quickly dart up the front door and try to open the front door. I continue to try to open the door but then I hear a loud noise pulling down the driveway. I turn around and see a bright red motorcycle with Jake sitting on top.  I start pounding on the door trying to get away from Jake. FInally the door flies open and I rush inside. I start pulling whoever opened the door inside then I slam and lock the door. I look at who opened the door and hug Edward with all my might.

"Bella what is wrong? What happened?" he says alarmed

I shake my head and hug him tighter. I hear the doorbell ring and I rush behind Edward. I look up at Edward and see his topaz eyes were now black. Carlisle walks in the room and walks over to the door. Edward looks away from me and focuses his attention to the door. Carlisle opens the door and there stands Jake. By this point I was shaking just like I did when I was younger. Jake's attention is on me as my tiny frame is behind Edward.

"Bella.." Jake says carefully

I look at him and I cower back behind Edward, because I am a coward I add in my brain.

"Jake go! Now!: Edward growls

Jake takes a step back and looks at me before turning around and walking towards his bike. He gets on his bike and drives off.  I continue to stare at the front door where  Jake stood. Edward looks down at me and his black eyes slowly faded back into the topaz I loved. He hugs me and I hug him back.

"Bella." Carlisle speaks

I pull back from Edward to look at Carlisle. I nod my head and he motions us to follow him. I slowly start following him as he leads us up to his office. But as we are passing the living room Edward throws his hands over my eyes and leads me to the office. Finally he removes his hands from my eyes and I realize we are already in Carlisles office. Carlisle points for me to sit on the small hospital bed he has. He comes over and gently touches touches my very bruised jaw. I flinch back, god I hate Jake right now.

"Bella what happened?" Edward says

"Jake kissed me and he put a lot of pressure on my face.. hence why I have these bruises." I say quietly

Edward stands up and his eyes go pitch black in a half a sec. I just watch as he storms out of the room. Carlisle is also looking at the door Edward just stormed out of .

"Okay well Bella I'm going to give you some medicine to help with the pain." Carlisle says.

I nod my head as he hands me 2 pills. I quickly take them and hop down from the bed. I stroll out of the room and walk down to my room.  I go into my closet and grab some leggings and a one of Edwards sweaters I took. I quickly put on my legging and I start pulling off my tank top when I look at everywhere on my body is covered in scars. I put the sweater and put on a crop top Rosalie had gotten me. I start looking at all the scars Nathan had given me and my eyes well up with tears. They are all over my wrist, legs, stomach, and arms. I wipe away my tears and slip on the sweater over the crop top. I throw my pajamas into the clothes bin and walk out of my closet. I go and sit on my bed. I curl up into a tiny ball and close my eyes. Suddenly I felt something cold next to me and I roll over and cuddle into Edward.

(4 hours later)

I rub my eyes and uncurl myself and stretch. I get up out of bed and the door flies open and I scream but the open door reveals  a very excited Alice and Rosalie. They come over to me and starts pulling me towards the bathroom. They throw me down in the salon chair they had put in there at age 10. Rosalie starts washing my hair as Alice starts putting a bunch of makeup on the counter.

"What is all this for?" I start complaining

"Bella today you are turning 16 and we are just going to dinner okay?" Rosalie says

"But you guys don't eat!" I exclaim

I hear some very loud laughter coming from downstairs, probably Emmette. They continue to do what they are doing and then I'm being sat up and my hair is being dried. Then a curler is being placed on my hair and I start squirming from the heat. But i stop when I feel Rosalie's cold hand near on the back of my neck. Rosalie curls my hair as Alice does my makeup. After they are satisfied they pull me up and drag me to my closet. Alice starts shuffling through my closet before she pulls out a high low white dress. I strip out of the sweater and everything while Rosalie and Alice look for a pair of shoes and jewelery. The dress flows behind me because I'm so short. Rose and Alice come towards me with a pair of gold sandals. I slip on the shoes and they lead me out of my room.

When we get down stairs it is completely dark and I can't see a thing. All of a sudden the lights come on and a whole bunch of people where there. A smile lights up my face as I see my friends but my smile widens when I see my family. The party starts and I walk around talking to some people but then Edward takes me outside where there are more people, but this time they are dancing to soft music under fairy lights. Edward pulls me towards the dance floor and we start dancing. I lay my head on his chest as we dance back and forth. All of a sudden he lifts my head up to look at him. He smiles a soft smile and I feel the sudden urge to kiss him. What I didn't notice until now what little space was between our faces. Edward leans forward a bit and presses his lips to mine. I feel sparks fly and my heart beat speed up. He pulls away and I become sad as his lips leave mine.

"Happy Birthday Bella. I love you." he murmurs

"I love you to Edward.:

He presses his lips to mine again and it was total bliss.
