I'm soooo sorry my stupid iPod lost the chapter AGAIN yesterday and the some bastard at school today stole my iPod (pardon my language). Soooo sooooo sorry!!! I got done as soon as I could!!!
After the "coronation" the same man from before took me to the room in which Maria had brushed my hair.
"There are nightclothes in the wardrobe. Good night, Princess." He said, closing the door.
I sighed happily. Finally, I could get out of this outrageous dream!!
I practically skipped over to the wardrobe. It was huge; it looked like it could store enough clothes for the entire "kingdom".
Upon opening it, I saw every girls dream clothes collection: nightgowns of silk and satin, shining in every color under the sun(s), elegant ball gowns, and pretty medieval- style dresses I guessed were supposed to be casual. I was kind of confused; I didn't really fancy myself a clothes girl. I was perfectly fine with whatever mom could make me after her occasional visits to the world outside the forest. I only knew about classic clothes-living girls because of the books mom bought for me (whenever I asked to go to the place she called a "supermarket" with her, she would refuse to let me go).
Shaking myself from me reverie, I grabbed a random nightgown: a pretty sky-blue satin floor- length one. Sighing, I put it on and hung up the coronation dress. Settling down in the warm, fluffy, comfy bed, I prepared to exit the crazy dream world.
:):):):):):):)
Or not.
I woke up, expecting to open eyes and see my pretty, small, pink room. Instead, the sight that greeted me was the one that had bid me good night: sky blue walls, a fluffy white carpet, and an overpriced canopy bed with unrealistically soft sheets.
I wanted to cry. Or scream. Or something express my frustration.
Why? Why did this have to happen to ME?! Why couldn't I go on living my nice, happy life in the cottage?
"Don't cry, Rose. Can I call you that?" I looked up. Pierre say in my window- 15 stories off the ground.
"How did you-"
"Even if I was... Turned, I still kept certain faery perks. For example, wings. Anyway, you have the Mating Test today, correct?"
I sighed. "Yep."
He smiled softly. "I know they're being impossible, but every time someone has tried to be with someone other than their mate, whatever power that made soul mates makes sure they wind up together." He reassured me. When he spoke of the government trying to split us up he looked extremely ticked.
"That's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about not getting my own choice as to who I'm with. You're the first guy I ever even met besides my dad and Sir Percy. How do I know that you're the one? How-"
" I understand. I do. If you want, I'll make sure you love me because I'm me, not because of a bond."
"How?"
"The bond increases the counterparts feelings tenfold. If you bring an offering to Canzwa, the goddess of love, she may tone it down for you. Many couples have done this in the early stages, to make sure they truly love each other. I will visit her later."
"Thanks so much."
His ears pricked as if he heard something. "I better go." He whispered, leaping out the window.
Ten seconds later, there was a knock at my door. "Princess, it's time to get ready. The Prophet of Canzwa awaits, and so does your Destined One. If you will let me in, I will give you your dress for Canzwan Ceremony."
