I decided to get the hell out of there in case my attacker had a friend. I ran as fast as I could past the fairy tale flowers, past the wisteria curtain, through the river, and right into the chest of a very handsome man.

I was still rattled from my attack, so I screamed, even though he'd done nothing to harm me.

He looked down, startled, then crouched down next to me, as I had fallen.

"It's all right, I won't hurt you. What happened anyway? You look like a rabbit running from a wolf!"

He straightened up and offered his hand to help me up. Suddenly a voice in the back of my head notice how sexy he was, right as another started screaming,"VAMPIRE! RUN!" I ignored it though; I'd probably think that about everyone for awhile. I was that rattled.

"Sorry, sir, it's just that I just got attacked by a rogue vampire. I guess I'm still ratted."

He smiled charmingly, and I realized I was still on the ground, covered in dirt. Sheepishly, I reached for his hand, and realized it felt unusually cold, as if he'd dunked it in ice water. I shivered when I touched it.

"Sorry, miss I usually have cold hands." he said when he noticed.

"It's alright. sorry I bumped into you."

He merely smiled, and I suddenly remembered the little white bunny. Oh, well, he would go back home, I guess. I felt kinda bad for running away from him, though.

"Looks like you've got a visiter." he said. I turned around and saw the bunny had followed me. He looked at me, and suddenly there was a voice in my head.

"You left me sitting by that river." It said.

"That's it, I've gone crazy." I thought.

"No, you haven't." It thought back.

I realized to the man, I'm just sitting there, awkwardly staring at a wild bunny. So I pick it up, say sorry for running away, and stood.

"I'll be leaving now sir. Goodbye."

"Actually, why don't I walk you home? That might be safer, miss..." He trailed off looking for my name.

"Rosalie. And I guess it's ok. We live in a cottage by the woods."

We walk in silence until we reach the edge of the woods.

"I'm afraid I cannot go any farther. Goodnight and goodbye, miss Rosalie."

I arch my eyebrow, but reply," Alright." and walk to my house. The bunny wiggles a little in my arms, and I realize I don't even know the man's name. When I turn around to ask him, he's gone.
