I took a short shower, and it's a good thing that my hair is long so I could cover my breasts at least. I then had a warm cloth that I wrapped around myself to be able to walk to the guest room to change. I wasn't sure what I wanted to wear so I sat on the bed for a few minutes. After several minutes actually passed I dumped my bag on the bed. A light knock on the door causes me to stop searching through my bag and go to the door. I stub my toe on the way, and man does hitting your pinky toe feel like you're going to die. I grunt, and whimper then open the door. "Uh," Peter looks me up and down, "y-you never ate dinner. I brought you some." I don't say anything, but open the door wider letting him in. Peter places it on the dresser, and goes to leave but stops at the door. "We have to get up before sunrise tomorrow."
"You're insane. Not happening."
"I have my ways." I can just feel the grin as he walks out of the room even though I can't see it.
I continue searching for clothes, and decide on my adidas sweatpants, and sweatshirt. It's comfy. After I get changed I put everything back in my bag, and throw my hair up again. I hate when my hair is wet its annoying. I leave my bags on the bed, and head out. I look for Felix but he finds me first scaring me from behind. "Don't do that!" I yell, and he laughs.
"My apologies." Felix leads the way back to my cage, and it's already blacker than pitch out. Fireflies light up the night though, and reveal the path. They all rhythmically dance in sync, and decorate the woods in natures own beautiful way. "Wow." I say, and Felix looked at me. "There aren't fireflies where you lived?" He asked me, and I shrugged.
"None like these." I say, and he just shrugs. The trees open up to the one big oak that held my fate. "Well, i'll be back tomorrow I guess, if that is what Pan decides." Felix said, and left after locking me in my cage. I pick up my phone and check to see if Andrew actually left me alone. When the screen turned on I see he called ten times, and I have three texts. 'Erin, I miss you. Please let me help.' Then I see a text from my dad. 'Where the hell are you?'
I ignore everything that I got, and just shut my eyes. Sleep takes a strong hold on me, and though I hear something around me in the dark. I do not wake.
The morning comes fast, and I dreamt of sweet nothings, and fireflies. It was roughly twenty minutes to sunrise when Drew woke me up. "How was your wet dream, princess?" Drew winks at me as I open my eyes slowly to his. "What?" I groan, and sit up sleepily.
"It's almost sunrise. We need to get to the beach."
Drew unlocks my cage, and lets me out. I get out, and furl my eye brows trying to remember what Peter said. He told me we have to get up before or maybe at sunrise. I don't really remember. "Okay, so first we are getting you your two weapons of choice."
"We are getting weapons? Why?"
"Keep the questions to yourself, my love." I hear Peter from behind me. "Goodmorning, Pan. She will be on the beach in a matter of minutes." Drew says without looking at him.
Then Peter disappears, and I look back at Drew confused. Even more so now. What exactly does this bloody devil have in store for us? "Would you like the bow and arrow, or sword, or the machete. My personal favorite if I may add my bias opinion, dear."
"Well, you may, but I choose the bow and arrow and the sword if I may please."
Drew hands me over the weapons I have chosen, and buckles a belt around my waist. "What is this for?"
"Well, you cannot carry your weapons in your hands." Drew laughs, and takes my sword back slipping it into the holster on the belt he just put on me. "Where do I get my arrows?"
"With this." Drew holds up a glowing little bag with an over the shoulder strap, "it's enchanted so you will have an endless supply of arrows." He puts it over my head, and I look up at him. I'm still confused as to what exactly we are doing this early in the morning, but I guess I will find out shortly. Drew leads me back to the beach that me and Peter first arrived at together, and there all the lost boys stand with Peter.
The boys all are wearing the same thing that I am, and Peter turns around with his world wide famous grin. I hate that grin. "Well, my love, you are just in time. You see I have a brand new game in store for you. Since you seem to find trouble every turn you make." Peter looks at the lost boys, and the youngest one gulps. He walks over to Pan and hands him the neckless. At least that's all it looked like. A simple little trinket. Though Peter holds up the trinket, and it glimmers in the first rays of the sun. It was a gold, and there was a weird symbol on it. It appeared to be a locket?
"This? This is the key to opening one of the darkest entities in Neverland, and in the world."
"Peter are you insane!" Felix yells with fear in his eyes, but Peter pauses. Then in a matter of seconds he whips out his sword, and holds it up to Felix's neck. "What did you say?" Peter waited for a response. "That's what I thought."
Peter then goes back to where he had left off. "We, well ha, you I mean, Erin. Well, you are going to hide it."
"Who am I supposed to be hiding it from?"
"From me." Peter grins up at me. "You have freedom to open fire on me, and all my boys. That is if you can find us. If I find the talisman, then you will be tied down, and marked. The wrath will then collect it's pray, and we will go back to doing what we do best."
"You mean what you do best?" I step forward, I was frightened, and pissed off. Not a good combo.
"What would I do best, my love?" He suddenly appeared in front of me. His eyes a darker shade now as if the evil in him was almost taking him hostage. The blue in his eyes cried out, but the evil kept it's screams silent. "Exactly, now let the games begin!" Peter yells and they all vanish.
I look around frantically, and then look down. The trinket. I pick it up, and put it in the little pouch that was stuck to the arrow bag. I run into the woods, and try to find the waters I showered in. It didn't take me long to find it, and once I did I followed it to Peters room. Slowly opening the door, and making sure Pan wasn't in there I shut the door behind me. Quietly. Then I start looking through his things desperate to find a map or something to lead me around the woods. He knows Neverland better than anyone. How will I beat him?
I trip over a brown, leather, cylinder object before I go to walk out of his room. "What's this?" I pick it up, and slide out the musty papers. I gasp.
