Chapter Thirteen

I unfold the paper, and it's a map with a note. 'I'm not sure if I got it completely right, but I believe I have finished mapping out all of Neverland. It's all that I have imagined. How did it become real?' Peter, Peter must have written this. He created Neverland, and he didn't even know it. A small pebble started bouncing around on his dresser, and I stand up with the map still in my hands, grab it, and hold it tightly. What is this?

I then head out of his room, and trace my steps back to the beach. Peter certainly wouldn't expect me to go back to the place I started, or could this be too predictable. "And who are you?" A man wearing a leather black jacket, and boots strutted out of the woods. He was pretty attractive with dark black, messy hair, and blue eyes. He had a sword on his hip, and quite a few rings on his hand. When the other hand came out I realized who was standing before me. Hook. I honestly did not imagine him to be so mesmerizing. "I certainly have never thought that Peter would bring a girl to Neverland. That just isn't something you see everyday."

"Uh, w-what do you want? Because if it's P-"

"No, no. I'm not looking for him at the moment, love. I seek a more scaly creature."

"Tic-Toc?"

"In human form, love."

"Rumplestiltskin?"

"Aye." Hook steps towards me, and lifts up a strand of my hair with his hook. "Now I don't believe that I have introduced myself, love. I am Killian Jones, but as most people call me, Hook." He holds up his hook.

"Quite ironic. What happened to your hand?" Killian walked a circle around me, "that is a story for another day."

I cross my arms, and he smiles a genuine smile. "Sorry to disappoint, but will you lead me in the right way?"

I nod, and point behind me to the left. Killian looks down, and then back up at me. "You've met him haven't you?" He asks me, and I'm guessing he made that assumption since I knew where to find him. I nodded, and Killian patted his hook with his hand. "You do realize that probably is not a good thing?"

I shrug, and take a few steps back from him and get ready to head on my way. "Wait, where is Peter if you are here? Aren't you supposed to be in a cage like the others?"

"There were more girls here than just Wendy?"

"Oh," he pauses and taps his bottom lip with his finger, "he, uh." Killian laughs. "He hasn't told you has he?"

I look at him sideways, and shrug it off. I mean obviously there has to have been more. I mean I obviously can't be the only one besides Wendy. That was such a dumb question. "No, but I would assume there have been quite a few." I smile, and play with the map in my hands. Killian just gives me a generous smile, and goes to walk the path I lead him on. "Hey, Erin? Neverland is full of adventure, and new things. Think happy thoughts." Before he keeps heading to Rumple he turns back again, "and don't mention my presence to Peter?"

I nod in agreement, and sit down with the map. Okay, so I can go around because they are probably waiting for me in the middle hiding. So, if I go around back, and get them by surprise I can make it. I get up, put the map in my arrow satchel, and head along the shoreline around the island. There is no way that they can catch me this way, but I mean they do know all possibilities to get out of this island, and through it, under it etc.

I mean I can try at least. I don't want to kill anyone though. Why would Peter say that? I couldn't possibly kill any one of the lost boys. I just couldn't. I hear leaves close by me on the inside, and I use the big tree before me to hide behind. Even going around this place is incredibly hard with all the hiding spots. I definitely will not make it through this game. I grip the pouch on my hip, and bite my lip. I have to though. This thing could kill more than I might ever have to. I hold my breath as the crunching of leaves comes closer, and then quickly something yanks my hair. I hold in my yelp.

Only to turn and see it is Killian again. "I've got a bit lost, my love."

"That's such a lie." I say, and yank out of his grip.

"A pirate always stays true to his word. Especially a captain."

"And where's your ship?"

"Other side of the beach." He narrows his eyes at me, and grins. Then we both hear someone whistle. I grab his collar and pull him close to me hiding behind the tree. "Oh, what now? You want to kiss me? Well, if you insist." He whispers, and I cover his mouth listening to where the whistle came from. Killian looked around us, and then to my hand. I let go, and pushed him off when I realized the coast was clear. "Wait, Killian?" I look in his eyes, "I need to see Rumplestiltskin too."

"Well, then let's take a romantic walk together. Out of Peter Pan and the lost boys sight." He grins.

I instantly regret my decision in my head, and roll my eyes. What did I just do? I mean having Rumple hide the talisman will most definitely be out of Peter's reach to get it. Though how do I know that I can actually trust him?

It takes us a while, but once we get to the opening Killian stares at the path to the small cabin. It was cute actually, like one of those little fairytale houses. Anyways, I start to walk on the path, and the door flies open automatically. "I knew you'd come back, my deary." He giggles, and suddenly i'm unsure of this decision yet again. What else have I got at this point?

"Yes, um, I'd like to ask a favor."

Rumple gets excited, but looks at my hip. "I know what it is, deary, but I don't just do favors you know."

"You have to make a deal with him. Everything with Rumplestiltskin comes with a price." Killian tells me as he walks past me to him. "Pleasures all mine this time." Killian holds out his hook with a grin. Rumplestiltskin looks at it disgusted then laughs, and smiles.

"Of course!"

"Okay, well," I interrupt, " I need you to hold onto the talisman for me. Peter can't have it. He will, um, unleash it."

"And how do you know I will not, deary?" Rumple shrugs, and giggles.

"Because if you do I will find you, and kill you myself." I said suddenly brave, and tired of the games.

This time Killian gives me a sideways glance, and gulps. Probably thinking that I am totally out of my mind right now. Which is not entirely false. I'm in Neverland. Being held captive by Peter Pan and his games. Who wouldn't be?

"Deals don't work like that, deary, and if we are being harsh here." Rumple balls his hand into a fist, and then opens it quick at me, pushing me back onto my butt on the other side of the path. "I hold the talisman for you, and you owe me one favor."

"What is it?"

He giggles that evil giggle once more before looking at me seriously.
