Chapter 3: The Truth

Nathans P.O.V

Me and Danielle had been talking for like a month we always went out on dates and stuff like that and I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend today so I texted her ‘Danielle are you ready’ I was waiting outside we was going to the beach with Reanna and Siva she never text back but she jumped into the car and said “yep I’m ready” Siva and Reanna were sitting in the front while me and Danielle sat in the back we arrived at the beach Danielle sat on the wall and took her converse off and put them in the car she ran down to the sand with Reanna me and Siva walked slow I then asked Siva “do you think I should ask Danielle to be my girlfriend” he then said “it’s not up to me mate it’s up to you” I then just smiled I was going to ask her.

Danielle’s P.O.V

“Reanna do you think it’s a bad idea that I haven’t told Nathan that I leave tonight for a year” I asked she then said “yeah because use have got so close I mean come on Danielle you both have feelings for each other and you leave tonight for a year” I then said “I want to tell him so much but I can’t” it was killing me that I had never told him he is amazing I still can’t get over this I’m close to Nathan Sykes from the wanted what’s happening my life is crazy I would have to tell him tonight I couldn’t just leave like that.

Nathans POV

It was funny watching Danielle and reanna splash around in the sea I think I will go and join them in a min I just don’t know should I ask her yes I like her there is something about but I don’t know it’s just what would the fans say and would she be able to cope with the fans all these questions where going on in my head Danielle ran up to me and said “come on you wimp you’re not afraid of water are you” I laughed and got up I picked her up and ran down to the water and swung her into the water we was having an amazing time I didn’t want this to end.

Danielle’s POV

It was the day I was leaving to go to London I have not told Nathan I feel so bad Reanna had told Siva but told him to promise he wouldn’t tell Nathan I was waiting at the airport for Reanna to come and say bye she text me saying ‘I’m bringing the boys they want to say bye we are telling Nathan we are going to the shops’ I text back ‘okay, make sure you give Nathan my letter’ she replied with ‘we have put it in the kitchen. I was waiting with a cup of tea in my hands and Reanna run up to me and hugged me and said “I’m going to miss you so much good luck in London” all the lads hugged me and it was time for me to get on my plane to fly away from my life to fly away from an amazing lad that I had fallen for I guess this means goodbye.

Nathans P.O.V

I walked into the kitchen for a bottle of water when I saw a letter with my name on it so I picked it up and sat on the sofa to read it, it said

Dear Nathan,

                            I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you this face to face but I’m leaving today for university in London so I’m not going to be living in America any more yes I know you have a house in London just do me a favour and forget about me, I know we never had anything but I liked you and I think I was falling for you but follow you dreams and keep tacking this world by storm because your amazing and so are the lads. Sorry this letter is only sort but I couldn’t put every thought into this I’m leaving for a year. Siva told me you was going to ask me out it was a good job you didn’t but please don’t try and contact me I’ve changed my number and good luck in life. I’m sure someday we will be able to talk about this if we ever talk again and I am really sorry. I don’t know how many times I’m going to say sorry but I’m saying it again maybe if we ever meet again we can sort something out because I had really fallen for you.

I dropped the letter and went to run out of the door to catch up with her but the lads and Reanna was back Siva pulled me back and took me to my room

“She’s gone Nathan I’m sorry she said she didn’t want to talk about it”

I was fuming he made her seem out to be dead “wait are you telling me you knew about this and never told me?” what sort of best friend did this he knew how I felt about Danielle and then he let her go.
