"Nothing Lucas." He is staring at me, and he notices the tear stains on my cheeks.
"Did I do this to you?" He asks worry filling his eyes.
I take a minute to gather my thoughts before I respond, "Yes Lucas, you and double standards."
I can see the change in his eyes from New York Lucas to Texas Lucas. "Riley let me in or I will break this window." As he says this I hear a knock on my door as my dad walks in and he sees Lucas.
"You!" My dad yells and Lucas runs down the fire escape. "Yeah you better run."
