Chapter 9: The Return Of The Alpha Pack

La Bête wanted to make his pack bigger. He urged his pack about the other members. All pack amazed because they expected La Bête to select the new members, not them.

"I need another member join us," shared La Bête his thoughts. "You have any ideas?"

"Why you ask that?" wondered Kincaid full of surprise. "You are the leader, so you must decide it."

"Kincaid, what you say if I pop on the ground and will say this is the new member of the pack?" guessed La Bête looked in their eyes.

"You forget we take the breakfast together," recalled Kali and showed the food.

"I hope you don't ask us because you know nobody," said Ennis and stretched his hand.

"You are my pack," said La Bête and shook his hand. "So everybody deserves to have an opinion."

"Let's see what we can do," said Liam and showed some candidates. "What you want to join in the pack, a chimera, or a werewolf?"

"We decide," replied La Bête and looked with interest. "How many options you have?"

"Gabe has some ideas too," advised Liam and saw his laptop.

"Thirty years ago a company named Muirfield made chimeras. The experiment went wrong. Muirfield killed all experiments," related Gabe the entire story. "Not everybody died. I have two targets that might aid us."

"I hear about Muirfield and their experiments. My father was Dread Doctors a creation," said Liam and shared his regret. "Some time ago, I went to someone named Juliana. She made me more powerful."

"Julianna force a bunch of creatures to track you down," deduced Kincaid the rest. "So you will inform us about the most critical thing that you have seen in your life."

"Isn't a terrible idea," said La Bête and smiled.

"What you say about a chimera werewolf who joins the army?" guessed Gabe and showed the candidate.

"I can feel is something more than that," said Ennis showed his undying curiosity. "What?"

"What you say about an arsonist chimera?" guessed Gabe and showed the next option. "Both are dead."

"Liam? You have any ideas?" wondered La Bête and waited for his opinion too.

"The only chimera, smart and powerful was somebody who had a tumor," responded Liam recalled. "He could throw with lightning bolts, shock people with electricity."

"Boys," yelled Kali and had a huge realization. "What you say to combine the power of these two in only one?"

"The tumor is a disease," said La Bête and checked on the internet. "So, I will revive the fire and we inject him with the serum."

"So he will become an alpha werewolf. He will leave behind an avalanche of fire. He will throw with lightning bolts and shock people," concluded Ennis.

"I hope he will not betray us," said Kali and realized his power. "It is funny to see such a werewolf."

"Kali," said Gabe and manifested his trust issues. "He must gain our trust before run away like a chicken."

"Why would run away when would get the chance to be someone?" wondered La Bête and said. "We can track him down, slay him. Isn't such stupid to waste such an opportunity."

"We want the arsonist with electrical powers," said Liam and showed the second option. "What about the man from the army?"

"Both are them are very good," responded La Bête and thought at his time. "I don't know current the army, but I know the past. They know many tactics, can survive during the purge."
