Chapter 26: The time travel

Vincent woke up early at sunrise, and the first thing he did was to check if his injuries from Devout healed. Devout and Derek slept, and Vincent raised the blanket and looked at the wound to see if it had healed. Devout smiled at Vincent.

"How many times do you need to check someone?" wondered Devout

"Until I am sure the hospital patient will live," responded Vincent, who explained. "Your injuries healed."

"My injuries are physical, not emotional," murmured Devout, and he asked. "Why do you leave your woman alone and hang around with me?"

"I am not a werewolf, but I get what it means to suffer the loss of your pack," informed Vincent.

"How is the time of day?" wondered Derek woke about both.

"It's even in the morning," responded Devout, and he asked. "Why do you hang around with me?"

"Because I desired," answered Derek, and he added. "Also, you rescued me and revived my parents."

"You are safe, and we are ready to pick up your luggage," Vincent stated.

"You can count on me too," murmured Derek.

"Medic, what do you prescribe?" asked Devout

"Follow his lead and rest as needed," Vincent advised.

"I couldn't sleep all night because of the bed," Derek murmured, explaining that. "This is the second night I haven't slept."

"Why can't you sleep?" wondered Devout full of curiosity.

"I recognize what it means to remake the bed or the house," comforted Vincent.

"Where did you stay before to revive your parents?" questioned Devout

"In a loft," replied Derek, and he specified, "I stayed there for almost three years."

Derek slept near Devout. Vincent went to work, and Devout massaged Derek's back. Tess, Braeden, Henry, Catherine, Chris, Sebastian, and Marie took breakfast together. Meanwhile, Allison and Isaac attended high school.

"Is this the first period when you time travel?" wondered Tess

"If you have magic available to you, why don't you use it?" asked Henry, pulling the glass of water.

"So this isn't the first period when you travel in time," concluded Chris.

"Is a place called Palace of Prophets," Sebastian added. "The magician goes there to train in the ways of wizards."

"Who are our partners and where must we travel?" wondered Catherine

"Depend. Lycaon seizes the Devout pack and moves in seven spots," Marie replied.

"I go check on Derek and he sleeps like an angel while Devout is fine," informed Braeden and sat at the table.

"I should question the period where we are going to travel?" wondered Chris because never done that before.

"We recognize a member of his pack went to New York in 1854," answered Marie.

"At that period, Rebecca and Alistair were alive," murmured Catherine and took the diary.

"We chat with them, and they comprehend what occurs," said Henry.

"Another member of his pack attends to Albion," responded Sebastian continuing the list.
