Having to awkwardly turn down a guy asking you out.

This happened to me, and it was VERY awkward. I really don't date at all right now, and a guy asked me out once. I had to said no because at the time I couldn't date (it was a year or two ago) and he really didn't seem to be the type of guy I would date as well. Although we were friends before, now I guess we're not. He doesn't even say hi when we meet, and believe me, it was such an awkward experience having to be in the same room with him once for hours sometime ago! Anyway, has this happened to you before? :P
