Sometimes I just get a little upset at the creators and composers of an otherwise really good song, book, movie (etc.) which just HAD to be peppered with something inappropriate or nasty. Like why?! Art is meant to be beautiful, it doesn't need that!

Sorry, ranting here. There's quite a few things which brought this on, haha, including a good book I was reading last week, and was written pretty well. But when I reached about the middle of the story, it got super inappropriate so I realized I probably shouldn't continue reading the series :( The same with some songs I have recently listened to too and which I would have liked soo much better if they changed some of the lyrics. Do you agree? What's your perspective on this, girlies?
