When I woke up, I was showered and dressed in bed. My hair felt slightly damped even though I washed it two days ago and it wasn't due for another wash for a few more days. The cut I sustained earlier was cleaned and bandaged. The sun was up and I could hear the chatter coming from downstairs. I didn't know how they possibly found enough room in this house for all of them but they did. I brushed my teeth and washed my face before heading downstairs.

The atmosphere was radically different than the last time I came down for breakfast. It seemed everyone was smiling at me and many even hugged me.

'There was flames everywhere. A normal person would have burned but she didn't. It was amazing.' Mario spoke to a group in the corner of the living room with much enthusiasm.

A few hours ago his ass was crying and now he was a storyteller. I shook my head as I searched through the crowd to find Chris.

He was in the kitchen going over a few things with Jack. Before I could fully approach them, Jack embraced me tightly, nearly squeezing the life out of me. "Thank you." He muttered in my ear, before placing a small kiss on my cheek.

He was one of the three in the shed last night along with Chis and Zahara. I smiled and nodded before moving on to the one I wanted to see. He wore the simplest clothing. A white t-shirt with gray sweats, but they were the sexiest thing I've laid my eyes on. He didn't move or smile at me. The day everyone was smiling, he wasn't.

I walked over to him, placing my hand on his firm chest. "Hi," I whispered softly, stretching on my toes to each his lips. He accepted my advances, lifting me and placing me on the counter.

"Oh, so you are happy to see me." I cooed as I pecked his lips again.

"Of course I'm happy to see you." He stood between my leg with both hands on either side of me.

Everyone in the kitchen pretended they didn't see the maneuver, yet no one made an effort to leave.

"Then what's with this frown?" I pouted.

"Do you have any idea what you put yourself into?" He fumed quietly and dangerously. He was livid. I could see it in his face now. His lips were firmly pressed together and his mesmerising eyes penetrated my very soul.

"I saved you."

"You almost got yourself killed." He grumbled.

"For you." I whined softly.

"Never do that again. I don't care what the circumstances are."

"You can't tell me what to do. I saved your life. I am nothing without you." I lightly kissed his cheek and he sighed heavily. He braced against my body as he peered down at me with lust. He took my lips aggressively as if he almost lost me and not the other way around.

"You're my everything." he muttered against my lips as our hearts began to beat the same rhythm. I could feel it and hear it. It was the only sound in the room.

"So are you." I promised, scooting closer to him so our bodied were completely touching on every surface. I moaned into his ear as I bit down on it. His fingers found my throat and then my hips. I cringed as he gripped it hard, messaging my torso. "Gentle. I'm only human." I teased into his ear.

"I think we both know you are more than that," He looked down at me before caressing my lips with his thumb. "And can take much more pain," he stared into my eyes and I melted under his gaze. "And pleasure." he whispered, promising something I would look forward to.

I moaned at his words, my insides quivering. I licked my lips before taking his into my mouth.

'Do you think they remember they're still in the kitchen?' someone asked. Silent snickers erupted through the room and I held my head down in embarrassment. I completely forgot.
