Mothernature

The rain freshens the air
The smell of the rain dampening the soil,
Feeding the plants,
And gracing the Earth with its purity

The plants reach up, yawning
For their dry slumber has been interrupted
By the droplets that give them life

Little orbs doing their jobs of
Keeping then from falling into a dry life

Of paranoia, of waiting
For Mothernature takes pity
