The rain freshens the air
The smell of the rain dampening the soil,
Feeding the plants,
And gracing the Earth with its purityThe plants reach up, yawning
For their dry slumber has been interrupted
By the droplets that give them lifeLittle orbs doing their jobs of
Keeping then from falling into a dry lifeOf paranoia, of waiting
For Mothernature takes pity
