INDIA

   "Hi daddy." I said smiling walking inside the house. He didn't even look at me. He just watched the game.

   "What you doing here." He finally said as I sat Kaylee car seat down on the floor.

   "I thought I should come over and show you Kaylee to you." I said removing the blanket off the car seat showing her to him.

   "That's not my granddaughter." He said as I frowned looking at him.

   "Excuse me." I was taking back at what he said. I can't believe he just said that.

   "You heard what I said India as long as you want let me run your life since you don't know about life. I don't have no granddaughter." He said as I felt the tears come in my eyes.

   "You know what Warren. I hope your happy life becomes miserable. All you see is the negatives in my life but guess what I am not going to let you run my life so get that out your head." I said standing up grabbing the car seat while leaving out the door.

   "I know someone who would give my daughter some love. Her only grandfather. My father Anthony. My mother been cheating on you for at least five years so be ready for them divorce papers." I said as he turned his head towards me. Leaving out the house as the tears feel down my face. They were right about him.

   He totally lost his mind. He wasn't the dad I grew to love. He was a different person. I should've listen to everyone about him but I couldn't. Who wants to hear that your father is plotting to ruin your life. It was all making sense now. The way he talks down to my mom is the reason why she went out there and cheating on him. He was jealous of anyone who got happiness in their life. He needed some help quick because he was losing his mind and I was afraid he was going to do something to hurt someone soon.

   "I saw your ex-husband today." I told my mom as she was holding Kaylee in her arms.

   "You mean my miserable ass husband yeah okay." She mumbled looking down at Kaylee. Even though my mom was married to my father, that don't stop her for going to see her new boyfriend Anthony.

   "He denied that Kaylee was his grandchild." I said as she looked up at me.

   "I can't believe he is doing that shit again." She said shaking her head.

   "He did it before mama." I asked her as she took a deep breath nodding her head.

   "Yeah he denied you when I was pregnant. He thought you were Anthony child for the longest. Knowing I wasn't that kind of person he even got a DNA test proving that you were his." She said as I shook my head. Something was wrong with him.

   "What you guys in here talking about." Crystal said coming into the kitchen.

   "None of your business." I mumbled as she smacked her lips walking over to my mom.

   "Wash your hands Crystal." I said to her. She was about to pick up Kaylee. I didn't want her catching any germs.

   "So how are you liking motherhood India." Bree said coming to sit next to me.

   "It's going well. I enjoy it. She's my mini me." I said smiling as Crystal picked her up.

   "We don't need that. Not another India." My mom said getting up.

   "Yeah little bit. Your mother is a little mean ass." Crystal said to Kaylee making them laugh.

   "You guys know I'm right here." I said. They were just having a full conversation about me like I wasn't here.

   "You guys better leave little mama alone." Anthony said kissing my forehead the doing the same to Bree and Crystal. Watching him go over to my mother as he whispered something in her ear making her laugh.

   I hoped one day I had the love they have but only time will tell in me and Odell relationship.

ODELL

   "Odell stop it." Kennedy yelled as I removed my hands away from her neck. Watching her cough trying to catch her breath.

   "Why the fuck you lie to me Kennedy!!! You said you got an abortion." I yelled at her.

   "I was gone tell you." She said walking inside the house as I followed her.

   "When Kennedy when he was an adult!!" I yelled at her as she turned around.

   "Odell stop yelling at me so I can explain it to you." She said.

   "Go ahead explain this shit to me." I told her.

   "Remember when we found out I was pregnant. We were so happy about my pregnancy until my parents found out." She said.

   "I told your ass that I didn't give a fuck what they said about our relationship." I yelled at her.

   "Odell let me finish." She yelled at me. Her ass was getting on my fucking bad side already.

   "I had to obey by their rules Odell. I was still living with them therefore I had to listen. So my mother schedule me an appointment to have an abortion. When I got to the doctor I couldn't do it. I couldn't have my baby took out of me. So instead I lied to everyone and told them I got rid of it including you Odell. You weren't ready for a baby. You were out doing your business and you left before I even got the chance to tell you. When I was five months I starting to show so my parents kicked me out and I moved to Atlanta to get away from everyone. I was coming back Odell. I didn't want Austin to grow up without his father especially since you didn't have your father in your life. I didn't want our child to not have his father in his life." She said looking at me.

   "Where is he at?" I asked her. I needed to see him.

   "He's at my aunt house." She said looking at me.

   "Come on." I said walking out the house but she called my name.

   "Where are we going?" She said following me out the house.

   "To go get my son." I said. If it not nothing, it's another.

   "Mommy who's that?" He asked when Kennedy put him in the car.

   "Someone important to you baby." She said getting into the passenger seat. Driving off as they continued to talk to each other he was asking her more questions about me. Stopping at a park turning the car off as we all got out.

   "What's your name little man." I said to him as he looked at the other kids play.

   "Austin Beckham." He said as I bite the corner of my lip. I was nervous what for I didn't know.

   "Is you my daddy?" He asked me nodding my head as I watched him look at me with a frown on his face.

   "Were you been?" He said as I laughed that was some shit I would say.

   "Your four right?" I said as he nodded his head.

   "Can I go play now." He said as I nodded my head watching him run away from me.

   "Don't go far Austin!" Kennedy yelled. I couldn't even look at her right now. I got a son from a previous relationship. How the fuck was I gone tell India this? I needed to go to the one person who could keep shit real with me. My mom's.
