ODELL

She was coming. My daughter was coming into this world. This day just turned from bad to the happiest day in my life. Everyone was here. India family and mines was here to support us. I made it clear to the hospital that I wanted us to have our private room. I knew the one thing India was worrying about was her dad here but he was still mad at her. He tried to run India life and she wasn't having that and so was I. She is a grown woman. She should be able to make her own choices.

"You good baby girl." I asked India as she nodded her head. I was expecting screams from her or even some cussing but she was quiet.

"Come lay with me." She said moving her body to make some room for me. Everyone had left the room to give us our privacy.

"No India. You rest I'm good." I said to her as she smacked her lips.

"Come on, Odell were both tired." She said as I signed. She wasn't gone let it go. Taking off my shoes getting in the hospital bed with her watching out for the cords.

"Did you tell Bree to get the baby bag out the car." She asked me as I nodded my head wrapping my arms around her bed.

"Yeah she should be on her way now to bring it." I said as she pulled the sheet up to our bodies.

"How you feeling." She asked me as I smiled a little. She was in labor and she was asking how I was feeling. India was my ride or die.

"I'm good India. You ready for Kaylee to come?" I asked looking down at her.

"I'm scared Odell. What if she doesn't make it or something is wrong with her lungs." She said.

"Our baby is a Beckham. We are fighters." I was rubbing her belly. I needed to believe that myself and hoped our baby girl would make it okay.

INDIA

Opening my eyes looking next to me seeing Odell was sleep with his hand covering his face. He sleeps so weird to me. Looking at the time seeing it was five in the afternoon. When we came to the hospital it was only twelve meaning it still Odell uncle funeral day.

I was scared. I wasn't even going to lie. I was only eight months pregnant and I was in labor. It was a lot going in my mind. The doctor let us know the symptoms of a premature baby. It was a scary thing. It was one in a lifetime chance that she was going to be healthy and didn't have to stay in the hospital a few days extra.

"How you feeling." My mom said walking into the room as I grabbed the remote turning down the volume on the TV.

"I'm good mama. Just a few pains here and there." I said rubbing my belly.

"Bree brought the baby bag here. Is there anything you need?" She said as I nodded my head.

"Mama can you do me a favor?" I asked looking at her as she raised her eyebrow. It's like she already knew what was gone ask.

"Can you call daddy please." I said feeling a pain come through my stomach. It was hurting.

"India I." She started off but I cut her off.

"Mama please I don't want him to miss the birth of his grandchild. Just do it for me." I said.

"Okay India." She said as I smiled lightly watching her walk out the room. Turning over to Odell seeing he was still sleep. I knew he was tired.

"Odell." I said shaking him these pain hurting. This wasn't what I expected.

"What's wrong." He said opening his eyes sitting up.

"Go get the doctor." I gritted through my teeth. I changed my mind. I wanted the epidural.

"You feeling the pain." He asked me as I nodded my head hearing the door open seeing my doctor coming in.

"Ms. Westbrooks how you feeling?" She asked me putting on her gloves.

"I want the shot." I screamed feeling another painful contraction come.

"Let's see if you can have if you might be fully dilated." She said as Odell grabbed my hand as she checked me.

"Ms. Westbrooks you are ready to start pushing. You are fully dilated." She said as she called the nurses to come in.

"So does that mean I can't have the epidural." I asked her as she shook her head yes.

"It's okay baby girl. I'm here with you." Odell said kissing my forehead.

"Go get Brandi and our moms." I told him. Those was the only people I wanted in the room with me and Odell.

"Okay now give me a long hard push." The doctor said as Amanda was holding my leg up. Giving a deep push with all my might and screaming at the same time.

"This is hurting." I screamed while holding Odell hand.

"Come on India. You got this." He encourages me as I nodded my head doing another push with all my strength.

"I can see the head." The doctor said as I leaned back catching my breath. I not having another child. This was it for me.

"You're doing good baby girl." Odell said wiping the sweat off my face.

"Okay Ms. Westbrooks just give me two more big push." The doctor said to me as I lifted up. Closing my eyes screaming as I pushed again feeling the pain in my lower level.

"Ah!!" I screamed again pushing harder as I felt her come out hearing the cries in the room.

"It's a girl." The doctor said as I laid back catching my breath.

"She's so beautiful." I heard Brandi said as I looked up to see me and Odell moms crying.

"Here's your baby mommy." One of the nurses said as I opened my arms grabbing Kaylee. She was so beautiful and she wasn't even tiny. My baby was chubby.

"Hi Kaylee." I said as she grabbed my pinky. Looking at her red face as she had her eyes closed with a frown on her face.

"There goes your daddy." I said turning my head looking at Odell. He had a smile on his face. His eyes never left her body.

"Here baby." I said handling him Kaylee. Taking her out my hands as she kissed her forehead.

"Kaylee Ealise Beckham." He said as I smiled watching them interact. Handling her back to me as she started to get fussy grabbing my finger as she held it tightly.

"I love you India." Odell said as I turned my head to him. He loved me.

"I love you too Odell." I said as he kissed my lips. Our little family. I didn't want this moment to end.
