INDIA

"India are you going to come tonight." Brooke asked me as I walked inside the building.

"Yes Brooke." I signed. She wanted to have a sister dinner. I just got home and I was sleepy but I haven't seen none of my sister's in a while.

"Good we all can catch up on our lives." She said as I looked at the time seeing it was my appointment time.

"Okay see you soon." I said ending the call. Sitting down in the chair as I bite the corner of my lip.

"India Westbrooks you can go in now." The receptionist said as I stood up thanking her making my way to the room.

"Ms. Westbrooks it's nice having you back." My counselor said giving me a smile as I shut the door.

"Last time we meet you were pregnant. How's the baby doing?" He asked me as I sat down on the couch.

"She's doing well." I said giving him a smile as he nodded his head taking out a notepad.

"Okay so I haven't seen you in months so tell me what's going on in your life. What made you came back here?" He said as I took a deep breath.

"My life isn't going well." I confessed as he nodded his head looking at me.

"What events had happened since what you informed me about?" He asked me.

"A month ago I was kidnapped by my ex fiancée and my now ex-boyfriend sister." I told him.

"Now when you say ex-boyfriend are you talking about your child's father?" He asked me as I nodded my head.

"So why did you push him away?" He asked me as I frowned watching him give me a small smile.

"Ms. Westbrooks the last meeting you told me he was the perfect gentleman for you. He treated you like a queen so where did that stop." He said explaining his question.

"He didn't stop being the perfect gentleman. I'm just afraid of what's going to happen in our relationship." I told him as he wrote in his notepad.

"So you broke it off with him. How did he feel about that?" He asked me as I looked down at my hands.

"Odell doesn't show his feelings but he did when I told him. He was hurt." I told him which was true. Odell doesn't like to show his feelings. He didn't even cry when his uncle died but he did have a pain expression on his face. It was the same look when I told him I didn't want to be together anymore.

"Ms. Carter your holding your past relationship against him aren't you." He said as I shook my head yes.

"You will not be able to move forward with your relationship until you see that he isn't like one of your previous relationships." He said.

"Trouble follows me in every one of my relationships. I've been through some pain. How do I know that he isn't going to be like the rest of them?" I said to him.

"Has he put his hands on you? Did he ever call you out your name? Have he showed any signs that he changing since you meet him?" He asked me as I put my head down. He was making me feel worse than I already did.

"No he hasn't." I confessed never has Odell called me out my name or put his hands on me. He's still the same person I meet a year ago.

"When was the last time you spoke to him?" He asked me.

"As in a real conversation a month ago. He doesn't say anything to me but a standard hello and bye. We have a schedule where he picks up our daughter." I said watching him write more things down. It's true it's been a month since out breakup and Odell doesn't say anything to me. All he does is send me a text when he wants to Kaylee and I'll take her to Mama Heather's.
