Chapter 30

INDIA

   "That's everything baby." Odell asked me as I was putting Kaylee in the car seat. Two days later we were taking Kaylee home. She was healthy as a premature baby. Nothing was wrong with her lungs and she didn't need to go to ICU. She was perfectly fine. I decided to beast feed Kaylee. My nurse told me it was better than formula.

   Wondering if Warren Westbrooks ever showed up?

   Nope he didn't.  He missed his grandchild birth. I understand if he was doing something but nope. He didn't even come and I was here for two days. I had everyone called him but he just ignored everyone calls. I was done with my dad. I think this was the thing that put the stamp on the pain and hurt. I honestly don't know why he just won't let me be India because I love to be India but he doesn't see that.

   "Yeah that's it." I said grabbing the baby bag as he grabbed the car seat.

   "So I got a surprise for you." He said as we walked out the room. I happy we were going home. I wanted to take a nice long hot shower.

   "You do. What is it?" I asked stepping into the elevator.

   "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you would it?" He said as I rolled my eyes looking down in the car seat seeing Kaylee sleeping peacefully.

   "She looks like you." I said smiling. She had her hands bawled up in her mitten. She already had scratches on her face.

   "Well her daddy is fine." He said as I rolled my eyes getting off the elevator walking out the hospital.

   "I'm go get the car for you so you won't have to walk." He said as I nodded my head sitting down on the bench as he put Kaylee next to me.

   "You are so precious." I cooed kissing Kaylee cheeks as she whined moving her head. I don't even know where she gets that from.

   "Can I sit here?" I looked up to a woman smiling and a little boy was holding her hand.

   "Sure." I said moving Kaylee over a little so she can sit.

   "Aww she's really cute." The women said smiling as she looked inside the car seat.

   "Thank you." I said putting the blanket over Kaylee. It was a little chilly out here and I didn't need my baby to get sick.

   "I'm Kennedy." She said holding her hand out as I looked at her. When people became so friendly.

   "India." I said shaking her hand looking at the boy that was sitting in her lap.

   "He's a cutie." I said looking at him as he played on his game. He was a little cute boy.

   "Thank you his name is Austin." She said.

   "Are you new here." I asked her. I heard a slight accent in her voice.

   "Yeah. I just moved here from Atlanta." She said as I saw a car pull up.

   "Well it was nice meeting you India. Hopefully we see each other soon." She said giving me a warm smile before leaving with her son.

   "Something isn't right about her." I said. It was something I couldn't put my hand on. Watching Odell pull up next in this white Range Rover truck.

   "No you didn't." I said once he got up picking the car seat up.

   "I don't know what you mean." He said with a smirk on his lips. Getting into the car as he strapped Kaylee up.

   "Sure you don't know what I'm talking about. What is it about men getting new cars?" I said as he got into the driver's seat driving off.

   "I like the thrill." He said laughing.

   "Or it's because you have a small dick." I mumbled then laughing.

   "What you laughing for girl. You know that's not true." He said touching my thigh as I moved his hand away. Not having sex for six weeks was gone be hell.

   "Omg this house!!!" I screamed coming into me and Odell new room. This was Odell surprise for me. Moving us into this amazing house.

   "Stop screaming before you wake my baby." He said coming into our room. Don't get me started on Kaylee room. It was amazing the perfect white princess room. He went out.

   "This house is amazing Odell." I said as he walked up to me.

   "I'm glad you like it baby girl." He said kissing my lips.

   "I wish we could have sex." I said pushing him on the bed climbing on top of him.

   "What you mean let's go." He said raising up my shirt as I moved his hands.

   "No sex for six weeks Odell." I said as he laughed. He thought I was playing but I was serious.

   "You know I love you right." He said looking at me as I nodded my head.

   "Yes I love you too what's wrong?" I said looking at him. I knew he had a lot on his mind with his uncle passing away then finding out that was his father.

   "Nothing I just wanted to tell you that." He said as I nodded my head. Something was up with him.

ODELL

   "Are you going to speak to your mother Odell." India asked me as she was feeding Kaylee. I was about to go to my uncle place. It was something he wanted me to see.

   "I don't know India." I said putting on my shoes. I still wasn't talking to my mom. I just couldn't face her right now.

   "Odell I think you need to speak to her. She's been through a lot these past few days." She said as I kissed Kaylee forehead.

   "I'll think about it." I said kissing India lips as Kaylee began to whine.

   "My little fat fat jealous. She doesn't want you kissing me." I chuckled kissing Kaylee forehead again.

   "Goodbye Odell." India said shaking her head. Telling her I love her then leaving out the house. I needed to take care of some things.

   "So what we gone do bro." Aaron asked me as we walked inside the local liquor store.

   "Man I don't know. I'm not ready to face my mom right now. Uncle left me a key to his house." I said.

   "Yeah that was foul on both of their ends." He said as I agree with him.

   "I'm gone get the swishers." He said as I nodded my head knowing he wasn't gone smoke cause Jazzy gone kill his ass.

   "Oh I'm so sorry." A girl said after she bumped into me. Frowning people needed to watch out where they're going.

   "Odell." She said as I looked up seeing the bitch I couldn't stand. CHYNA.

   "What you want Chyna?" I said. I wasn't in the mood for her shit.

   "When you gone come and visit your son Odell. He needs his father in his life." She said as I laughed in her face.

   "You know Chyna. You should be really careful who you leave your child with." I said as she had a shocked look on her face.

   "Did you think I wasn't gone get him tested especially since your grandma was so quick to give him to me for only forty dollars." I said as she bites the corner of her lip. Shaking my head as I walked away from her hearing a laugh behind me.

   "Still the same old Odell." Turning around seeing someone I thought I was gone never see again.

   "Kennedy." I said as she smiled at me. This isn't good.
