Carmen POV
"Well, I think there should be more fire throwing men out here, what do you guys think?" Mariah looked around
I stared in awe at the two fire throwers, catching the sticks with ease.
"Actually I love everything," I sighed at the ocean. "This place sure is beautiful."
"No actually its.." Rayla paused.
"Bomb!" She said herself without me joining in.
I was currently upset with Rayla and I didn't even understand why.
I hated the way that she talked about our kiss as if it were nothing. It actually meant a lot to me, but she obviously didn't feel the same. I almost told her how I really felt, yet thankful for Mariah's distraction.
I could feel Rayla's eyes on me, wondering why I didn't jump in on our saying that we caught up on since we became Instagram famous.
A hula girl came along with a tray, handing us all coconut shaped cups with tiny umbrellas sticking from them.
Women were starting to fill the venue and took their seats in cabanas or tables. The night was just beginning.
I started to sit at a table next to Kaci but Rayla grabbed my hand and pulled me to a private cabana.
"You want to sit here?" I gave her a confused look. "I can't even see the stage from here Rayla."
"Are you okay?" She touched my forehead.
"Yes, I'm fine." I took a step back. "Why?"
"You're acting weird tonight." She stepped up to me again. "Are you sure everything's fine."
"Yes I'm sure." I moved away again. I couldn't focus when she was standing that close to me, she smelled so good.
"Carmen, you can tell me anything, you know that right?" She stared into my eyes.
The guilt from not telling her how I really felt was eating me alive. But I didn't want to risk our relationship. "I know, everything's fine, I'm just overwhelmed from this new lifestyle." I lied.
"Oooh, I understand." She pulled me in for a hug. "We'll get used to this, this life is better for us and not to mention fun." She smiled down at me.
"You're right, I've never been so happy and free in my life." I smiled back.
"Let's just enjoy ourselves then baby girl don't stress." She grabbed my hand and led me back to the party. "I got you. Always."
I felt terrible for not being honest with her, but it's for the best.
...Rayla POV
Even though Carmen said everything was fine, I could see right through that smile. I know her better than anyone.
I knew the new lifestyle wasn't the only thing bothering her but I was going to let it slide because I didn't want to stress her. She'd let me know what was up when she was ready.
I've never known her to keep something from me, possibly she has a good reason and it's nothing big.
I just wanted to turn up and get a few drinks in my system, I was tired of babysitting.
"Thank you gorgeous." I tipped the bartender.
I turned around to see a pouting Carmen. I didn't feel like dealing with her moods after the last few shots so I ignored her.
"Want to dance?" A pretty blonde hula girl asked.
"Sure." I followed her to the floor and we were grinding to the beat.
"You're so fine, can I have your number?" She winked at me.
"How about you give me yours." I handed her my phone. With all this fame, I needed to be cautious with who had my personal info.
She pecked me on the cheek before I left to my limo.
I was pretty messed up but I didn't care, all I could think about was getting a hotel with the random hot hula chic.
"Rayla!" Kaci narrowed her eyes as I entered our limo.
"What?" I leaned back in my seat, letting the alcohol take over me.
"Look at this." Kaci handed me her iPad.
"Where's Carmen?" I kept my eyes closed, not even glancing at the Cosmo ad.
"She left early." Kaci grabbed my shirt. "Hey! Pay attention."
"Ugh fine." I took the iPad and my eyes widened.
A photo of me and the hula girl dancing was posted by Eddy. Caption: 'Carmen rejects a kiss from Rayla because of her unfaithful behavior'
"Oh no."
I look on our Instagram to see Carmen posted a photo of us in our matching luau outfits. Negative comments from fans listed beneath it.
'I knew Rayla was no good'
'Carmen you deserve better'
'Rayla is a cheater!'I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples as a headache took over. I messed up bad.
