Our mate (part 2)

Blair's POV
I wake up in the hospital bed due to Aidan kissing me on the cheek.
"Hey" I smile up at him.
"Hey" he says while hovering over top of me. Then there's a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I say.
A very buff yet slim girl comes into the room.
"I'm sorry Alpha and Luna I hope I'm not interrupting anything." She says bowing her head.
"No not at all." Aidan says hopping off of me. "Good morning Nicolette." He says.
I smile brightly at her.
"Good morning Alpha and Luna." She says looking over his shoulder to me smiling. "I just wanted to tell you that Alpha Drew will have the men and women ready in a few minutes and he is expecting you." She said. My smile went away and I let out a low growl.
"Ok thank you Nic can you give me and my Luna a second?" He asks.
"Of course" she says bowing her head slightly and leaves.
"I have to get ready to go, Darlin" he says.
"Do you have to? It's not a good idea." I say worried.
"I'll be fine. I'll see you shortly. Mind link me if there is a problem." He say coming over and giving me a kiss good bye. Before he leaves I pull him back into a better good bye kiss.
"Just in case." I say sadly.
"Don't say that I'll be fine." He says kissing me again then he leaves. A few minutes after he exits the building, Nicolette comes in.
"Hello Luna." She says bowing her head in respect. I sit up more.
I smile "please call me Blair." I say smiling.
"Of course. My name is Nicolette as you may know and Alpha Aidan has asked me to be your protector for the time being until he gets back from his hunt." She says. I grunt.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't grunting due to your account. I'm not very happy with my mates choices right this moment. But it is very nice to meet you Nicolette." I say holding my hand out. She shakes. "Please call me Nic." I smile. I think I'm going to like her.
"Can I get out of this bed. I think I'm going to go crazy if I sit in it anymore." I say getting out of  bed. When my bandaged leg hits the floor pain shoots up my leg. I pause for a second, and then continue on my way to the bathroom. 
"Nicolette, can you please just grab me some clothes real quick?"
"Sure." She says running out and up the stairs towards my room. I turn on the hot water and take off the hospital gown. I take off the bandages. I step in and the water burns my leg badly, but I soon get used to the pain. The healing process kicks in a little better due to me cleaning the wound. I step of the the shower and there is a towel and a fresh pair of clothes.
"Thank you Nic!" I say from behind the door.
"No problem Lu-Blair." I almost laugh at how she wanted to address me formally. I get out of the bathroom to see her standing there ready to go.
"So what do you want to do?" She asks.
"Well first I need the doctor to re-bandage this" I say pointing down at my leg.
"Then we can do whatever I guess..." I say.
"Ok sounds good. I'll go get the doctor for you." She says.
"Thank you." I say. She leaves and I suddenly feel this pang in my chest. I never felt before. It's probably nothing.
Nicolette comes back with the pack Doctor. He stitches my wounds up and bandages them and gives me pain killers. When we get out of the hospital my wolf starts to whimper.
Something's wrong!?!?! She says.
What is it though? I ask.
I have no clue. She says and me and Nicolette keep walking.
"So how are you feeling?" She asks.
"Much better than before." I say. Then there's another pang in my chest. I stop walking. Somethings wrong.
Then I hear the patrols running.
AIDAN!!!! I scream through our mind link. He doesn't answer. Then I smell him. I see the patrols. They are rushing him into the hospital I charge after. When we reach the room he is in. He looks terrible.
"What happened?" I say tears threatened to spill
"About 5 or so rouges took him on." On of the patrol men say. "But we have Luke Hemmings in captivity." He says.
"It doesn't matter now. My mates wounds are fatal. He may die." I say letting a tear roll down my cheek.
I gasp" where's Mikey?" I say. Then he walks in the door.
"I didn't know if you wanted me to come in or not." He says he just has a few scratches but he's ok. I hug him.
"I told both of you this was not a good idea." I whisper in his ear. Then the pain in my chest hurts so bad. My wolf is weakening.
Mike grabs my arm from the ground.
"It's ok. Everything is going to be ok." He says.
"Do you know what's wrong with me?" I say.
"Your mate connection is weakening. Your mates wolf is dying." He says. I run over to the other side of the bed and pull a chair around. I hold Aidan's hand.
"Leave us please." I say, and everyone leaves. I wait forever there not moving just looking at my mate. The pain in my chest getting more worse by the second. Aidan opens his eyes. And looks over. I look up tears streaming down my face.
"I love you" he mouths. I cry even harder and say "I love you too." He closes his eyes again. And after a few minutes the beepy heart rate thing goes into a straight line. My wolf howls. Our connection snapped. I nearly stopped breathing all of my friends and the rest of my family and doctors run in. His pack is there. I'm still holding his hand crying. I stand up and hug him one last time and I kiss his forehead before I whisper in his ear. "I love you. You'll be ok." I cry into his shoulder for a little while. "You'll be ok" I say to myself more than him. I keep crying everyone watching. Mike comes over and picks me up and hugs me. "I'm so sorry." He says.
I just cry.
