Blair's POV
I never thought that I would lose my mate to a rouge. I thought the moon goddess pained me enough with my parents. I guess not. I have about three packs to tend to one without an Alpha not to mention. We buried Alpha Aidan where me and him had our first date. I don't cry anymore. My wolf rarely speaks to me any longer. I miss her(my wolf) and him very much. I carry on with my life it has only been 2 days since my mate has died. I'm more depressed than sad. I created a shell. My pack and all the others that continue to stay with us are much stricter. I haven't seen Luke Hemmings yet. I might as well though.
"Take me to Mr. Hemmings please." I say to Nicolette. After everything happened I decided to keep her because my mate wanted her for me. We continue through the pack to reach the cages. We finally get there and some other rouges are in there beat and very skinny. Nolan meets us at the door.
"Luna" he says bowing.
"Hello Nolan, we are here to see Hemmings" Nolan is very very strong that is why my father gave him this job. He is also a patrol gaurd on certain nights. We walk through the place I hold my head high. This rouge growls at me. I turn my head & look down at him. I flash my teeth and let my wolf come to the surface only a little and let out a growl. The rouge whimpers away. We stop at the last block. The most protected block. Nolan unlocks the door and it's like a whole new place. Luke is hanging by chains soaked in wolfs bane and sweating. He is cut up very badly also. Nicolette comes in with me. There is a table toward my left with knives,wolfs bane, and other torture tools.
"Well, well,well. Luna Blair coming to talk to me. I am so honored. I heard about your mate sorry about that."  he says trying to crack a smile.
I just laughed like some crazy person would.
"You see Luke, I have passed on from my mate," I said not meaning it I missed him like hell " but thank you for trying to make me mad." I said smiling. Nicolette looked at me like I was crazy.
"Oh feeling strong, are we."
"We all know your not"  I said walking over to the table and picking up a knife.
"Oohh that's a nice one they used that on me the other day." He said.
"Oh they did? Just the knife?" I asked turning around from the table.
"Yeah" he said smirking I decided to dip it in the wolfs bane.
"Did they do that?" I asked.
"Nah there not that smart." He said I heard Nolan growl from outside the door. I shoved all of the knife in the poison, and walked over to Luke.
"Are we getting mad?" He asked.
"Not really. Just having some fun" I said running the poisoned blade against his cheek making it bleed and burn. He just grunted.
"Oh I'm sorry did that hurt" I asked sarcastically. "Here just hold that for me real quick" I said jabbing it into his lower abdomen. "Sorry your hands looked a little tied up" I left it there and walked back over to the table looking at the other tools. He was in pain I could see it in his eyes. I picked up another knife and soaked it in this kind of red stuff then coated it in wolfs bane.
I turned to Nicolette "do you know what this red stuff is?" I asked.
"I believe its vampire blood." She said.
"Oh sounds painful. Do you think we could make a hybrid?" I asked.
"Maybe I don't know how it would turn out though."
"Well we'll have to see won't we?" I said turning around
"Your gonna be my experiment." I said. I don't know where I found this confidence from but I think from being without a mate my confidence levels shot through the roof.
"Please stop!" He asked breathlessly due to the knife with wolfs bane on it.
"Oh you big baby! When I take that knife out your heal right back up. It's not that deep. Chill" I said. Oh god I'm turning into a psychopath. Oh well. Luke deserves to be pained. I took the knife out of his lower abdomen. The wound healed slowly.
"How many of your pack members died in that fight?" I asked.
"Eh not many." He said smartly. I shoved the knife with the vampire blood and poison into his lung.
"Whoops sorry my hand slipped sorry I think I was aiming-" I went back to the table and soaked another knife with the blood and poison. "For that lung" I threw it into his other lung.
"Guess we'll find out what you are in the morning. Good night princess." I said smiling as I watched him slowly fall into the blackness.
"Sorry you had to see me like that Nic." I said giving her a sincere smile.
"No it's fine I completely understand where your coming from." She said grinning back.
"Do you want to go out to the diner a few miles out?" I asked needing to get away for a little while.
"I'd be glad to." She said smiling.
I opened the door to leave the cages.
"Nolan do not take those knives out until I return. Do what you must but leave the knives. Thank you" I said
"Yes Luna." He said slightly bowing his head.
Nicolette and I left the cages and I walked over to my white hummer hopped in the drivers seat and Nic hopped in the passenger seat and we were off to the diner.
