Stevie ran back home. She didn't know how she felt, it was a mix of emotions. Her tears couldn't stop falling. She didn't want to hear from Ally ever again. Well, at least for a while. She ran to her room and threw her phone on the bed. It would not stop ringing but Stevie did not want to talk to anyone. The fear of losing Ally in the accident had already been too much. Now she was losing her to... him. It felt even worse because it seemed like she stayed there for nothing.

Enough. She took her car keys, her bag and went to the parking lot. Her tears had stopped, she was breathing hardly. Stevie did not know where to go, anywhere but here would be better. She was driving for a few hours before she realised she was lost. Her car stopped, it was out of gas.

Stevie - Shit ! Not now !

She took her bag on the right seat and looked for her phone. It was not there. She put her hand on her forehead. Dumbass ! She had left it on her bed. What would she do now ? She was lost in the middle of nowhere, hours away from home. Stevie felt her anger coming back. It was Ally's fault. If she hadn't done that, she would be okay and on her bed by now.

Stevie closed her eyes and tried to think of something to get her out of this situation. She opened them and looked right in front of her. All she could see was a road but some lights were visible. Nevertheless, it looked far away from where she was. Maybe it was a town, or a gas station. At this point she would be okay with anything. It was a little road, she hadn't crossed a car in a long time. She guessed she could not count on that solution. She looked back but that direction seemed less promising. Stevie decided to get out of the car with her bag, locked it and went to seek for help. She had nothing else to lose after all. She started walking toward the lights, sometimes turning back to see if her car was still there. It became shorter and shorter as she was getting closer to the lights. She started thinking about what she would do once she would be there. She would dial the only number she knew by heart, other then her own and call her parents. She didn't want to bother them but she had no choice. Because of HER... At that thought, she contracted her fists and kept on going.

Ally's POV

She kept calling Stevie but she wouldn't pick up. She was certainly furious and didn't want to talk to her. The young woman could perfectly understand that. Ally felt really bad, she couldn't stand just being there doing nothing but trying to call her. After the kiss, she had sent Steven home which upset him. For hours she tried to call, then keep her mind busy, then try again. Still nothing. That was too much, she was starting to get worried. She took her phone, a jacket and ran outside. Ally went to Stevie's house, preparing what she would say. She was really sorry, she didn't expect it so she didn't react on time. She wanted to tell her she felt guilty for hurting her so bad. She wanted Stevie to forgive her and hold her in her arms. Ally couldn't lose her. She maybe couldn't remember everything but her heart knew how much she meant to her. Because the heart can't forget, the heart can't lie. She rushed to the house but all the lights were off. Bad sign. She tried to knock at the door but it was opened. Was she in ?

Ally - Stevie..? Stevie ! Are you home ?

Nothing, not a noise. She kept her breath and called her from her phone. Suddenly, she heard a ringtone.

Ally - Stevie ! I know you're there ! Please, I know you don't want to talk but I have to explain ! Please let me.

She stayed quiet again after that but still, nothing.

Ally - Ok Stevie I don't care, I'm coming in. I won't leave.

She pushed the door and called her again. Her phone rang and Ally followed the ringtone. It lead her to her room. Sadly, no one was there. She took the phone on the bed and started looking on every rooms. No one was there. Ally got really worried, Stevie would not leave without her phone and her front door was opened, something was wrong and she knew it. She couldn't stop herself from feeling worse, it was all her fault. Ally ran back to her house. She was out of breath when she arrived but she didn't care, she deserved to be in pain she thought. She took her car keys and drove to Stevie's parents house. Maybe she was there, safe, but she had to make sure of it. Besides, she had to talk to her.

Stevie's POV

Stevie arrived in a little town. She was tired and thirsty so she didn't waste and started looking for an opened shop. There, on the other side of the road, a dinner. She crossed it and pushed the door. A little bell rang. It was almost empty.

Waitress - Good evening ! Do you want a table ?

Stevie - No, thank you, I'm lost, out of gas, hours away from home and my phone is...

She started crying uncontrollably, putting her hands on her face. The woman got surprised by the reaction of the young woman. She didn't know what to do. She awkwardly put her hands on her shoulders.

Waitress - Come here, I have a phone in the office. Don't cry, it's going to be okay.

She left and Stevie followed her, drying her tears. She didn't know what had gotten to her.

Waitress - Here !

Stevie - Thank you very much...

She dialled her parents phone number and waited.

Stevie's mom - Hello ? Stevie ? Is that you ?

Stevie - Ho... How..?

Stevie's mom - Ally is here, she was worried, we were too ! Where are you ? I'm coming to get you !

Her mom was coming soon but... Would she bring Ally with her ..?
