Sweet, yet bitter

Chapter 3

We walked outside the mansion. Last time when we went to the gym there was a car waiting for us but

this time there wasn't a single care inside our property. It kinda shocked me. What is Schwable

planning? Are we going to take a taxi? No. We would never do that because we have our own private

cars. Is Schwable going to drive with her car? I think that not either because she almost always comes

here with a bicycle.

''Where's the car?'''I asked.

''We're not driving to the gym anymore. We're going to walk.'' Answered Schwable with a smile.

''Why? The gym is like a kilometer from here!'' I said as the gates opened.

''It's a warm-up. I never used a car to get to the gym before I became your private teacher. We can

always take our bicycles to get to the gym.''

''The last time I rode with a bicycle I was twelve years old. That bicycle is now too small for me!'' I said

to Scwable. I got my first bicycle when I was seven years old. The bicycle was red, without training

wheels because I said I didn't needed them and it was also a little bigger. It was a little hard the first

time when I tried to ride it. I got a few bruises and scratches but it was worth trying. After a few tries I

got the hang of it and drove around the mansion. After a few years I got bored and stopped riding it.

''Then ask your parents to buy you a new one! It will be faster than walking and healthier than driving

with a car!'' Said Schwable.

''You're right about that! I think Fionna should do it too! She always drives to school with with a car.'' I

said. Fionna has ridden with a bicycle before but she has never used it to get to her school. I asked her

once why isn't she riding with a bicycle to her school but I forgot what was her answer.

''Hey, Bubba, what are you planning to do after the studies? I mean your job. Where are you going to

work after the exams? When I stop being your private teacher.'' Asked Schwable.

''I'm not sure yet but I don't really want to take over Candy Kingdom. I like science tho. Candy

Kingdom also makes medicine. I could try working in the lab with all the science-y things.'' I laughed.

''That is so like you,'' laughed Scwable, ''But do you know what Fionna is going to do in the future?''

''No, I don't. Maybe I'll ask her when I can.'' I said as we arrived at the gym. The building had two

floors. In the first floor near the enterance was the reception. The first floor is basically shops for

sports equipment. The second floor had locker rooms, showers and two gym halls. Me and Scwable

went into the locker rooms to change our clothes. There are two separate locker rooms. One is for

men and the other for women. I put my stuff in a locker so it doesn't get stolen. I took my phone and

earphones so I can listen to music while I train. When I walked outside the locker room, Schwable was

already waiting.

''How long were you waiting?'' I asked as we went to one of the gym halls.

''Not long.'' Answered Schwable as I opened the door for her. ''Thank you, Bubba! You're such a

gentleman!''

''Well, if you are rich and live in a mansion, you have to learn manners and respect for the others!'' I

answered as we climbed on to the treadmills. We took our phones and plugged in the earphones.

People always listen to music while training. Usually they listen to the most popular songs but I prefer

different songs. I was listening to a song that the only intrument was bass guitar. It had also lyrics. I've

never heard this song before but it was beautiful. I was hypnotized by the song and forgot that I was

running. I looked at the name of the song but I was shocked of what I saw. The song didn't have a

name. Songs always have a name but this one didn't. I looked at the name of the person who played

this song. The name was...
