Sweet, yet bitter

Chapter 4

''Bubba! Bubba! Hello? Are you there?'' Said Schwable who already had stopped running. I stopped the treadmill and looked at her.

''Yes? Did you said something?'' I asked. I can't believe I was that hypnotized by the song.

''Let's take the dumbbells now.'' Said Schwable as she walked to the place where dumbbells were held. Schwable took the 3 kilogram dumbbells but I took 5 kilogram dumbbells. We lifted them a couple times and then took a higher mass dumbbells. After all the dumbbell lifting we went to different trainig machines. After 30 minutes my muscles started to ache and Schwable came and said:

''You okay?''

''Yeah. My muscles are aching a bit. Think we should go?'' I answered and my stomach began to make awkward noises. I blushed and looked away.

''Hungry? I know a good cafe where the food and drinks are really delicious.'' Said Schwable.

We went to the locker rooms. I took a cold shower and it felt so good after all this training. While I showered, I was humming the hypnotic song I was listening to while I was running. It's a catchy song. I smiled. I turned off the shower. I dried myself and dressed. I took all my stuff from the locker and went outside to wait for Scwable. After two minutes she finally came out.

''Sorry I took so long. Did you wait long?'' Apologized Schwable. Her hair was a bit wet. She must've washed her hair too.

''No, not really. Let's go to that cafe you were talking about.'' I said. We went to the reception to give our locker keys back. When we walked outside of the building, Schwable was looking around as if looking for something. I didn't understand why did she do that but suddenly she said:

''Ah! I remember! This way!'' She took my hand and dragged me with her.

''Woah! Careful! I almost tripped!'' I said as I tried not to fall on the ground. That would've hurt a lot.

''Sorry I surprised you like that. It's just that I haven't been there in a long time.'' Answered Schwable and let my hand go.

''This cafe, what's the name of it?'' I asked her.

''Vintage Fluer. It's not very popular but it's an interesting cafe once you see it.'' Answered Schwable.

''Vintage Flur? Never heard of it!''

''It's Vintage Fluer! F-L-U-E-R! And of course you haven't heard of it because it's rare and you go out very rarely!''

Schwable's right. I never really go outside the mansion to go shopping or sightseeing. Fionna enjoys sightseeing and shopping more than I do.

Once I did go shopping with Fionna and Fire Prince. He is name like that because he can do a bunch of cool tricks with fire. Fionna always calls him FP for short. Anyway, Fionna asked me to come with her because she was a little embarrassed being alone with him. And of course I accepted her request. I also had a chance to talk to FP alone and I was shocked to hear what he said. He thanked me for coming with them and he was blushing and turned away. Fionna said he's also kind of fearless and invincible but nobody can be like that, not even FP. He was also embarrassed by being alone with Fionna. And I said he shouldn't be embarrassed by it and just try to calm yourself and you'll be fine! I said the same thing to Fionna later and she said she can try and it actually worked. I also noticed that they are spending more time together but I didn't want to interfere, so I didn't ask Fionna anything about it.

''Vintage Fluer!'' I said as we approached the cafe.
