By the way, I forgot to mention. This takes place in the OLD world. Before the fifteen year jump.

Laurance whirled around.

"We can explain!-"

"Save it, Laurance. What the two of you did put the village in a panic. Not to mention how worried we were." Aphmau stands behind the two of you.

"How dare you!" You explode. "You are the one who kept me locked up in a room, just because of a change! I thought we were friends!"

"Don't even think about arguing, we're going back to Phoenix Drop." Aphmau says.

"And what makes you think I'll go with you?" You say.

"You can make the wrong choice, or the right choice. Laurance, what do you think?" Aphmau asks.

"I'll do whatever Y/N chooses." Says Laurance without any hesitation.

"So, Y/N?" Aphmau puts her hands on her hips, she thinks that she won this argument.

"Never. I'm going to look for my father." And with that, you whip around, grab your bag, and signal for Laurance to come. He nods, and follows.

"You'll regret this. The two of you will never be welcome in Phoenix Drop again." Aphmau calls. It doesn't bother you, but you can tell Laurance flinched at that.

"You can go back if you want." You say to Laurance.

"No, I'm coming with you," Laurance says, in a tone that make it final. Not open for discussion. "Now, where do you want to look for your father?"

"Uh, the last place he was, was the old burned down bandit camp, where I lived. I think I remember where that is. It's on O'Khasis's land, though."

"Hm, dangerous. That will have to be it."

You smile at him, and the two of you continue walking, because, now, it's time to find a boat.

***

After hours of searching for anything, the two of you had decided to return to Meteli, and rent a boat, as the sun was starting to go down. Now, you're dragging it to the shore, to set off for O'Khasis.

"Finally!" You pant, dragging the boat a final few meters. "Let's set off now."

"Right..." Laurance collapses onto the ground. "Maybe in about ten... Billion... Thousand... Million... Hours."

You sigh, and get to dragging him onto the boat.

"Time to go." You sing into his ear.

"No... Twenty... Million... Billion... Thousand... Hundred... Million... Hours." He groans.

"Nope." You grab a bucket from the supplies that you bought in Meteli, and scoop up some ocean water, and return to him, only to dump it on him.

Laurance shrieks, and jumps up, while you start laughing your head off.

"You have the highest pitched scream..." You laugh.

"I'll get you for that one!" Laurance grabs the bucket out of your hands, and grabs some more ocean water, which he proceeds to chase you in circles around the oat with.

The two of you laugh your heads off when you trip over the boat, and get socked in water from both the ocean, and the bucket. You then climb aboard the boat, soaking wet, and get to the wheel.

"I'm driving first!" You say, and start it up.

"Everything ready?" Laurance asks.

"Yup!" You call back, and start off, sailing into the night.
