One hour walking, and you're already getting bored.
"So, your grandfather said that he was last seen near O'Khasis, most likely trying to get back to camp." Laurance babbles.
"But how does that help us? We know something stopped him, but we don't know what." You grumble.
"Isn't it obvious? It was something to do with O'Khasis! We all know how badly they wanted that gem."
"So, you're saying that we now have to go back inside O'Khasis, snooping around for clues that might not even be there."
"I guess when you put it that way, it sounds ridiculous." Laurance looks away.
"Oh, that wasn't meant to be offensive! Sorry!" You quickly apologize. "I'm just in a bad mood."
"It's alright. I know you're under a lot of stress. I remember when that Shadow Knight captured Hayden, which convinced the people of Meteli that he was dead. I just couldn't believe it." Laurance says.
"Yeah. It was a bit of a shock." You say. "When I was younger, I wanted to be just like him. I thought he was invincible..."
Laurance smiles at you.
"Now, we going to O'Khasis, or what?"

A small hole in O'Khasis's wall, and a couple horrible minutes if walking through a sewer leads you to stepped into O'Khasis's grounds. Buildings were everywhere, even in the side alley you were in. Mostly, there were a couple little shops here.
"Now, how for Lady Irene's sake, are we going to find out what happened?" You mumble to yourself.
"Maybe ask some of the villagers around here?" Laurance asks.
"As long as they don't recognize us, I think that's a good plan." You give him the thumbs up.
You look around for someone who looks nice, and knows something about the history of this village. Nobody really comes to mind.
"How long ago did my father die?" You whisper to Laurance, still trying to fit in with the villagers.
"Your grandfather said about a month ago." Laurance whispers back.
You nod, and walk up to a shopkeeper selling books.
"Hello, Mrs. How can I help you?" You realize that this girl probably wouldn't know, as she looked very, very young. She was probably taking care of the shop while her parents were doing something, as she looked about six to seven years old.
"Uh, never mind." You shake your head at Laurance, and the two of you continue down the street.
"Uh, hi." You say to a shopkeeper who seems to be selling all sorts of things.
"What'cha wanna buy, pretty lady?" The shopkeeper winks at you, while Laurance comes up, and stands beside you, obviously being protective of you.
"We were hoping you could answer a question." Laurance says.
"Buy something first." Said the shopkeeper.
"We just need you to answer one-" Laurance starts angrily.
"Relax, just buy something, and I will."
You sigh, and hold out a gold Ingot for a small notepad.
"Now, what's your question?"
"So, we were wondering if O'Khasis took someone prisoner, or killed someone about a month ago." You say.
"Ha, O'Khasis is always taking new prisoners and killing them. How would I know about one individual person?" The man roars with laughter, as if he had just made the funniest joke on the planet.
"Thank you." You sigh, and walk away, that was a waste of your time, and your money.
"Let's see if we can get inside the castle." Laurance says suddenly.
Hey guys, time for an Author's Note. I'm sorry if this chapter isn't as well written as mine usually are. I'm incredibly tired while writing this, and just now, I couldn't even spell tired! The point I'm trying to make here is that I'm sorry if some parts are hard to understand. When I'm less tired, I'll go over this again to fix any mistakes.
