"Wake up.",someone whispered.

"No."

A hand rubbed my shoulder softly,"We can make breakfast."

"You should have made breakfast before waking me up. What are you doing up before me,Minx?",I asked with a yawn.

She never woke up before me. Minx was of the dead when she slept. Surprisingly it didn't take much to wake her up though. The only problem is that it took her forever to actually wake all the way up. Until she woke all the way up she was a zombie who muttered her incoherent thoughts unless you gave her coffee.

"Open your eyes,Amanda. I'm clearly not Minx."

"Tony!?",I brought the covers to my chest to hide my embarrassing pajamas,"What are you doing in here!?"

"You know wearing The Grinch isn't appropriate since it's not Christmas time yet,right?",he smirked.

"I can wear whatever I want."

"Since its Friday yes,but come Monday you'll have to wear that uniform.",he pointed to wear I left it out in the hopes of saving time this morning.

"What's the point of uniforms if they're going to let us wear what we want anyway?"

I'd rather have my options taken fully away than be teased with them every Friday.

"I don't–I'll wait for you outside.",he closed the door behind him.

I chuckled at his embarrassment. It was cute how he acted like he was confident,but has soon as it came to it he was shy. I picked out a pair of grey leggings and a light cardigan. Unlike Minx I didn't take pride in my appearance. I always did enough to pass just above average.

I knew how to make myself look good without putting too much effort into it. Having my cousins and aunt Cassandra has family helped with that. I wasn't has beautiful has Kiera or the rest of them,but I knew how to work makeup magic if I had too. Today being my first day at a new school should have me working that magic,but I truly didn't feel like it. So instead I put the minimal amount on.

"I don't even know why we're following his orders anyway. He's not our Alpha.",I said following Tony down the hall.

"Your parents entrusted the two of you to be under my dad's protection."

"There's nothing to trust when it comes to him."

"You're wrong."

"To you I am."

The Alpha must have kept his past to himself.

"Just remember whose land your on."

The air was stiff with tension after he spoke. I understand his view point since he doesn't know of his dad's crimes,but he's wrong. I cursed Minx under my breath has I fix the two of us bagels for breakfast. She's lucky I need something to do with my hands otherwise she wouldn't be getting her morning coffee. Poor Adam probably hasn't even been able to get her to open one eye yet.

"Look, I'm sorry about earlier it's just my Alpha ego getting in the way."

"So you both have that problem?",I bit into my strawberry cream flavored bagel.

"What are–?"

"Why wouldn't I?",I heard before Adam and Minx appeared in the kitchen.

Like I had expected Minx looked perfect has usual. She was wearing a maroon top with a black maxi skirt. The most eye popping part of her ensemble was her gold statement necklace and the fact she actually choose to wear heels today. There was no way I was going to wear heels when I didn't have to. Then again I didn't have her height issue.

"Minx You take forever!",I laughed handing her a cup of coffee,"You'll have to eat in the car, you slow poke!"

Minx typed in the address Adam gave her into the GPS. I wonder what they were talking about before they got in the kitchen that made him look so confused. Probably the same thing that made Tony so confused with me. I wasn't expecting to deal with anyone other than the Alpha when we got here. Now we has three men and a new school to deal with.

"I don't think they know.",I told Minx calmly.

"Yeah,Adam, asked why we hated him so much. I didn't tell him though."

"I think we should tell them."

The Alpha would be torn at his own turning against him. If we told them the truth there was no way they'd take his side. What he did goes against our nature. Besides they've lived long enough in the dark. Once we tell them they wouldn't be able to look at him the same.

"Maybe."

"So, what happened between you and Adam?",I grinned mischievously.

Something had to have happened with the way Adam was looking at her.

"Nothing.", She shrugged,"He was annoying me the whole time."

"Tony was nice when he woke me up. He was even gentleman enough to wait outside my room when I changed."

"Adam, watched me change."

"What!?"

"I was too tired to care. He didn't try anything inappropriate."

"I guess."

Werewolves weren't shy when it came to their body. Shifting back naked in front of pack mates prevented that. We didn't see nakedness the same way humans do. I still liked to keep some of my modesty though. My body was my own and until I find my mate no one else is allowed to see it.

I only had second period and lunch with Minx at our new school. This time Minx wasn't the only new girl with a mysterious relationship with the Alpha. Now I know how she felt when she moved into Alpha Blake's. Every set of eyes was felt has we walked our separate ways. How was Minx ignoring the nervous chills they brought?

"Amanda would you mind staying back so I can give you a few papers and worksheets for you to catch up on?"

"I have to get papers from my other classes anyway.", I nodded.
