Benthe's POV

I was tapping my leg again. Sam was driving with me in the passenger seat. Sam noticed because he reached over and rested his warm hand on my leg.

"Don't be nervous. All of the guys are chill. You already know my sisters and brother. It'll be fun. I'll be right there with you," Sam kept his eyes on the road.

Sam took me with him back to Omaha to perform. He was supposed to perform tomorrow. All of his friends planned a sort of party. Sam wanted to introduce me to everyone. I was sort of nervous that his friends wouldn't like me. But of course Sammy always made me feel comfortable.

I put my hand over his and smiled at him.

"We're almost there," Sam said after a few minutes.

I had never been to Nebraska before. I haven't traveled a lot to other places either.

I felt the nervous butterflies in my stomach. I'm not really good with new people. I'm a little shy until you get to know me.

"Benthe, hey," Sam's sister, Annie greeted us. She hugged me and then Sammy. Ben came up from behind her and have Sam a weird guy hug thing. He hugged me next.

"Look at your hair. What did you do to it?" Annie asked.

"I just added some darker highlights to my normal blonde hair," I told her.

"It looks good," she complimented.

"Where is the guys?" Sam asked. Annie pointed him where they were. Sam took a hold of my small hand and guided me. We went outside on a patio.

I immediately smelled smoke. I wasn't a big fan but I didn't say anything. A bunch of guys hugged him and said hi. I stood slightly behind Sam until he pulled me close so that he could wrap his arm around me shoulders.

I realised I had several sets of eyes on me.

"Guys this is my girlfriend, Benthe. Benthe, this is Nate, Gilinsky, Johnson, John, G's girlfriend Madison, and you know Emily," Sam pointed everyone out to me.

I could feel everyone looking at me as if they were studying me.

Nate was the first to break the silence.

"This is the girl you were telling me about? You were right man, she is really pretty," he said.

I noticed Sam blush a little, "I know."

"She's too good for you," Johnson joked.

"I know," Sam said, throwing a cute puppy grin at me. I've always loved his dimples.

I squeezed his hand and we sat down with everyone else. It didn't take me long to understand and get used to everyone. I felt like I had known them for awhile since Sam had told me about them.

I wasn't as nervous as I was when I walked through the door. All because my love, Sam.
