Evelin's POV

"Yes, Mom. I'm fine. All I'm doing today is cleaning up the house. Sam is coming home in a few days," I told her. Mom was always concerned when Sam was on tour. I hung out with friends while he was gone. But it was sometimes lonely at night in the big house alone.

"I'll call you later, love you," I said to her.

I cleaned around the house for awhile when I got a call from Ben, Sam's brother.

"Hey, Benny," I greeted.

"Come over now. There is an emergency," he rushed out. I didn't know what to expect but I said goodbye quickly before driving over to his house. When I got there I noticed a bunch of cars in the driveway and around the house. Fear filled me. I hoped that Sam wasn't hurt or something.

I knocked on the door and Ben answered. He rushed me inside and we walked into the living room. The house was kind of quiet which made me nervous. When we walked in though, I felt extreme happiness. Sam was standing there with relatives and friends around him. He smiled and I ran toward him. He scooped me into his arms and kissed my head. I cried into his shoulder and held him tightly. Everyone else "awwed."

When Sam let me go I had to wipe my tears. Sam helped me too. I kissed him on the lips. Sam kissed me back but we parted because everyone was watching.

"I'm so glad that you're home," I said.

"I love you, Evelin," he said. "I've missed you so much."

He pressed his forhead against mine and I smiled. I loved when he was home.
