Cora's pov
Aaron and I ran towards each other smiling. The grip on my sword tightened and our swords collided with power. I grit my teeth, no longer smiling. He is tough. He wasn't smiling either. We stood for a second, thinking of our next move. Coach was watching intensely, watching our every move. I thought of a good plan and charged. Aaron seemed a little surprised but quickly took action. As I charged, he stood still. This is confusing. A battle plan formed in my head. Maybe I do have warrior in my blood. I held my sword near my chest, bracing for impact. Aaron's sword clashed into mine, and he took all his strength, and pushed me up. I saw the floor coming in fast. I put my legs forth and landed with a thud. I was kneeling in the floor and breathing heavily. I pushed my legs up and ignored the screaming pain. Aaron looked shocked. The pain soon went away. Aaron charged at me and I jumped out of the way. I held my sword firmly and knocked his out of his hand. It skit across the wooden floor. Aaron held his hands up, a sign of surrender. I lowered my sword from his neck. Faster than lightning, he pulled a dagger out for his pocket. He swung around and held the dagger to my neck. It's golden blade touching my neck barley. "Never take you eyes off the opponent." He purred into my ear. Another plan came into my head. I took my leg, swung it around and kicked him right behind the joint of the knee. He fell to floor and I grabbed my sword and held the point to his neck. "I never take my eyes of my opponent." I say smirking. He chuckled and coach looked amazed. Everyone else was crowded around us in awe. I smiled brightly and held my free hand out. He took it and stood up. I looked into his brown eyes and they sparkled, "nice fighting technique." He said.
"Thanks, but I made it up on the spot. This was my first sword fight."
"What?! No, that can't be!" Said Aphmau, behind me.
"It's true."
"Wow!" People started complementing me. "That was Aaron's signature move! He never does that to the rookies!"
Hhmm, one thing learned about him. An experienced sword fighter.
