Chapter 9 Kitchen 64

Cora pov
I can't believe what I just heard. So he does like me. And he's only ever felt this way with someone else? Alright, I won't question him. I looked into his brown eyes, filled with hope. I guess mine sparkled with a yes. He smiles and I smile. We don't even care about the audience watching us. "Y-yes. I would love to." I got up on my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my back. A few awwww'd behind him. I open my eyes and the boys there are coming towards us. I let go, so does Aaron. Though it felt like that he didn't want the hug to end. The girls squeal around me. The boys slap Aaron's back. "What times the date?"
"Say......tomorrow? Noon?"
"Alright. Sweet."
This is kinda embarrassing yet exciting. I smiled and so did he. "SLEEP OVER!" Shouted Cadenza. "But I have math homework." I said, and it's true. "Homework, shomework. We're having a sleep over." Said Aphmau. The girl looked at me pleadingly. I rolled my eyes. "Fine. But you guys give me the answers to the homework."
They squealed. "My place." Said Cadenza. "Oh come on! I don't want to hear you girls all night," said Laurence. Aphmau rolled her eyes, "fine. My house. My only roommate is my dog, Celeste. "
"Yay." I said. I looked at my phone and it said 3:57. Almost four o'clock. Alright. "So girls. I was thinking we can get some food before our sleep over."
"Yeah!" Exclaimed Aphmau, "where to?"
The three of us thought for a second. "Kitchen 64?" Asked Cadenza. Aph and I's eyes lit up. Dante took me there after the first day of school. Aphmau told me it was awesome. (I love Kitchen 64!)
"Yeah!" We said at the same time. All of us laughed. We rushed out of the house, letting the boys do their own thing. We piled into Aphmau's black Cadillac and drove down the road.

We made it to Kitchen 64. Surprisingly, it wasn't packed. Which is good. We walk up the waitress "hello. How may I- hey Cora." Said Leona. (Ok, so change the Kiki thing. Kiki is a grown woman. Just change it to Leona)
"Hey Leona. I didn't know you work here."
"Yeah, my mom wanted me to work in the farm, but I want to work here,"
"I don't blame you," said Aphmua, "best restaurant ever. "
'Leona led us to our table and we ordered. We are all going to have cheeseburgers and split a big basket of fries. We all sat there for a while just talking and eating
"ALRIGHT LADIES AND GETALMEN!" boomed the speaker on stage, "ITS SONG NIGHT!"
"song night?! i love song night!" said Cadenza, nearly bouncing out of her seat. Aph and I smile. "you have to do it Cora!" said Aphmau. I shake me head, "no". Cadenza stood up and dragged my arm. Aphmau pushed on my back. "Girls! Let go of me!"
It was to late, I am already on stage. A few people looked at me with a bored expression. I am blushing like crazy. I hand the people who play the music a sheet of paper with my newest song, Next Boyfriend. They smile and nod. And begin.

I gasp for a breath and people look at me like I am the next big thing. I quickly get off stage and Sit down and start eating. Aphmau and Cadenza has their jaws slacking. "What?" I say with a mouthful of food.
"That was incredible." Says Aph.
I took a sip of my drink
"And I got it all on video and it's on Instagram" says Cadenza. I spit out my drink in my cup. "YOU DID WHAT?!"
My phone buzzed, FireGirl tagged you in a post! And I gasped. "You didn't."
"She did."
"I did"
They both smiled. I got onto Instagram and saw she tagged MULTIPLE people. Garroth, Laurence, Dante, Aphmau, Leona, Kawaii Chan, Katyln, a few more people and.....Aaron. I swallowed hard and looked at the comments.

TheBlueberryfootball- that's my sister! Said Dante, I smiled.
Mr. Mysterious- ☺️👏🏻 said Aaron, I smiled wider.
We pack up out stuff and walk out of the restaurant.

Time skip

The girls got me ready. I am wearing a simple flower dress. I didn't think it was necessary, but they said that my clothes were "to goth for a date." What in Irene's name does that mean?! My clothes are fine! I like the color black. It goes with my hair nicely. The stepped back and admired their "artwork"
"Perfect!" Aphmau and Cadenza high-fived. I rolled my eyes and looked into the mirror. They put of some light blush, light lip stick, they also plucked my eyes brows. Now my forehead was red!  They said the red-ness would go away. Sure enough, it was gone. We heard the doorbell ring and my pulse quickened. Aph squealed and opened the door, "hey Aaron. Looking for your date?"
"Yeah-" he turns and sees me. I walk towards him and smiled. He stared at me like I has Elsa's dress on, though, now that I think about it, I am walking like her. My hips swinging. "H-hey Aaron. Ready to go?" I say. I must sound stupid. He shook his head, getting out of that trance, "Yeah. Let's go."
Aph and Cadenza squealed. "Text us later!" And they close the door. I sit in the passenger side of Aaron's car. He gets in the driver, "Cora, there is a surprise from your brother in the back seat."
I turn my head and there was a plastic target bag and my clothes! Yay! "Oh thank god"
He smiles, "he said that he knew that the girls would try and dress you up."
I laugh, "and they did!". I went to grab the clothes and looked. My jeans, a blue shirt, sneakers, leather jacket. Yay! Then I noticed a little picnic basket, "what's that?"
"It's for our date." Said Aaron. He was driving with one hand so I decided to be brave and intertwine my fingers with his. He looked at me and smiled. He gave my hand a squeeze and I did the same. Now, we are on the road to some mysterious date place.
