Chapter 6 The fight in Magics class

Cora's pov
It's after math class and I am heading to lunch. I am starving. I walk past my brother, Garroth, Aaron, Laurence. Maybe I'll find Aphmau and sit with her. I don't want to seem weird. I get in line and get a Chick'fl-a sandwich (TheObsidianWolf, alal0806, guys, yeah that's right, I did that)
And scanned the room. I saw Aphmau talking to a few of her friends. Luckily there is a seat open. I walk towards them and sit. "Hey Cora! Guys this is-"
"Cora~sama! Kawaii Chan heard that Cora~sama defeated Aaron~Senpai in sword fighting!"
Whu? "Yeah. I did. It isn't anything special-"
"Not special?!? NOT SPECIAL?! I was there! It was EPIC!" Said Katyln.
Cadenza just smiles. A elf with light blonde hair plays with a little ball of light coming from her hand. I guess that's magics. A hear another person sit next to me. I turn my head and gasp. "Kiki!" I said. It's been forever since I have seen her
"Cora?! Oh my gosh! I has hoping it was you! Your the only person i know with purple hair."
Aphmau cut it on our conversation, " I didn't know you guys know each other."
"Kiki sometimes used to work at the farm where I grew up."
"Wait, you lived on a farm?" Asked the elf. Zoey I think it is.
"Yeah," I turn to Katyln, "where i got my strength."
Katyln does this Fangirl scream. All of us looks at her with confusion. She blushes. I take a bite of my sandwich and listen to everyone talk. The whole time at lunch though...I feel like I am being watched. I turn multiple times to see Aaron looking at me. Well, it feels like he is. And it looks like it. Aphmau got the vibe and giggled. "What?" I asked. He smiles and eyes Aaron. I get her point, "OH HAIL NAH!"
Everyone at the table burst into laughter. I hear my brother laughing his head off. I slide down into my seat and blush. I push the hair out of my eyes. This is embarrassing...

I walked into Magics class and I immediately see the split between the en class. A group of people working with wands and potions and the other group brewing potions and healing spells. There is a big space I between them. But there are a few people the middle. I see Zoey, Kawaii Chan and a girl with orange hair. She is dressed like a witch. Aphmau is there. She smiles and waves. I smile and sit next to her. A woman walks in and she smiles at us. Her hair is ocean blue. Her eyes a warm Hazel color. Her hair is up in a bun. "Good afternoon noon class! My name is Mrs. Magi. I see s new face. What's your name, darling?"
I look up at her, "my name is Cora Irene."
She gasp, " a Irene? That's impressive."
I look at her confused. This doesn't make sense. What is so important about my last name? We soon get on with class. And I learn the people in the middle all think that we should work together. Like music class. The girl with the orange hair is Lucinda. She is very sarcastic. She has a pet owl called Bigglsworth. Class was nothing special until we heard a BOOM! But it wasn't inside the room. It was outside. We run out to see the matter. Two boys are fighting. A few people crowd them. I see one wearing black and white. The other, I can't see because people are crowding him. "YOU DONT TALK TO HER THAT WAY!" The guy who I can't see said. But that voice.....AARON! The other is Garroth's brother Zane, I presume. I ran towards the fight. I see Garroth on the other side, trying to get Zane. I go right between them. Aaron's fist almost hits my face. It's just inches from my nose. He gasp. His face is bruised and cut. His nose is bleeding. He has a black eye, nearly swollen shut. I gasp and his fist falls to the floor. He is stumbling. "Aaron, let's get you to the clinic." I say calmly.
"C-Cora..."
I reach my hand out and he takes it. He wobbles while he walks. We reach the clinic. And the nurse looks horrified. "Oh my Irene!" She says. Aaron collapses on the little bed. He still has my hand firmly. He is starting to drift in and out of sleep. The lady gives him a shot to reduce the pain. His grip on to hand loosens and I am able to slip free. He lost the battle with sleep and drifted away. I don't want to leave him, but I have to. I will pick him up later after school. I have to drive everyone back to their houses. Laurence, Garroth and Dante all have football practice. Aaron used to but now he is to beaten up to. Or maybe he will pull through. I left the office and went back to class.
