Chapter 6:

Maddie's Pov: *1 YEAR LATER*

"Leah, I need you to cooperate... Stop moving baby."

Leah is turning 2 today, and Im officially 20, nialls 21. So its legal for that bastard to drink.

"Niall! When is everyone coming?"

"In about 15 minutes!" He tells from the livingroom.

Leah hasnt said her first words yet, or crawled or walked , but we're not pushing her. We've been trying to get her to say mumma and dadda, but she wont. She shakes her head and giggles when Niall tickles her. She's ticklish on her sides, under her arms, her neck, her belly, and her feet. She screeches everytime you tickle her.

I leave her in a diaper and walk out into the living room.

"Hi Leah!" Niall says and takes her from me.

"There's my bee-you-tiful baby girl!" He says and kisses her cheek.

She smiles and giggles as he tickles her sides.

Everyone started showing up. I invited Liam, Danielle and her baby, Jordan, Harry and his girlfriend, Amanda I think it is, Zayn and Perrie and their son , Matthew who's older than Leah, Louis and Eleanor, And Nialls mum. Niall still hasnt forgave her, but he agreed to invite her.

There was a knock on the door, Louis and Eleanor.

"Heyyy!" I say and hug El, then Louis.

"How are you, Love?" She asks and smiles.

"Doing great, you?"

"Lovely." She says and sits down.

About half an hour later, everyone was here. Leah was having fun grabbing peoples hair and playing with it.

"Hey Maddie." Harry says, scaring me.

"Oh, hey! How've you been?" I say and smile.

"Good. Can I have a hug?"

I smile and wrap my arms around his body. I missed him, and we barely ever talked since that night.

"Wheres your girlfriend?" I ask.

"In the loo." He says and laughs.

A blonde with blue eyes came out and looked at me, then smiled. She stood next to harry and hugged him from the side.

"Ello, Im Amanda." She says and shakes my hand.

"Maddie." I say and smile.

"Nice to meet you. Your daughter is adorable."

"Thank you. Where is she anyway?" I ask and look around. I see her playing with Matthew and Jordan.

"She's gonna be a heartbreaker..." Harry says and laughs.

"I know." I say and smile.

"Im gonna go look for Niall, enjoy yourselves." I say and smile.

I walked around and talked to everyone. Maura was talking to Liam and Danielle, looking sad.

"Niall, a word please ?" I ask.

He gets up and follows me to the bedroom.

"Look, I understand that you Hate your mother, but at least make her feel welcome, please ?" I say. He doesnt say anything and just hugs me. I could tell he was crying.

"I j-just d-dont know how to approach her... I miss her so much." He says.

I rub my hand in circles on his back, causing him to calm down.

"Just ask her if you two can talk, and go on the back porch okay?"

He pulls away and nods, then wipes the tears from falling.

We walk out together and everyone looks at us.

Leah smiles and continues to play with the boys.

I walk around and talk to everyone as Niall approaches his mum.

Niall's Pov:

I was nervous and scared as hell. What would she say to me? We havent spoken in two years. I sighed and walked up to her.

"Mum?"

She looks up, her eyes glossy and she smiles.

"Hm?"

"May I talk to you on the porch?" I ask.

It was time to let go of the past.

She shut the door behind her and sat in a chair. I sat across from her, wondering what I was gonna say.

"Im sorry." The words blurt out.

"Im sorry for ... Scaring you. Im sorry for disappointing you, im sorry for being a horrible son, im sorry for hurting you, and Im sorry for not forgiving you when I should. I know i should move on from the past. Forgive and forget. I know. But , you dont realize how hurt I was ... You were the only one i had left mum... I was expecting you to hug me, and tell me you love me, instead of kicking me out and telling me to never talk to you again... Ya know? I still remember the day Greg died, and I know it was hard on you... But I was the one who was still there for you,.. I was.. Your little baby. And you didnt want anything to do with me... But I know I cant keep repeating it. So , I forgive you... And I love you." I say.

Her eyes tear up and the crying began.

She stood up, as I did. I wrapped my arms around her, and cried.

"I love you too, Niall... I missed ya so much." She mumbles.

"I know..." I say, the tears falling.

She pulled away and looked up at me. I was taller than her now, and it felt wierd.

"Lets go enjoy your babys birthday,?" She asks.

I nod and hug her once more,

Then walk in.

Maddie looked at me and smiled, blowing me a kiss. I smiled back and walked over to leah, picking her up.

"Who wants cake?" I ask.

"Leah, baby... Its time for bed."

She cries louder and starts kicking her feet.

"Maddie! Love, I need your help."

She walks in and looks at me.

"I thought you said you could do it." She says and smirks.

I laughed and shook my head, i sucked at this.

She picked up Leah and bounced her up and down while patting her back.

"Shhh... Its okay..."

"Mummaaaa..." She says, while crying.

Maddie's eyes get wide and she smiles.

"She said her first word.." I say and smile.

"Mhm..." She says and her eyes get glossy.

A few minutes later, Leah is passed out.

We walked out and I needed a shower.

"Wanna go shower ?" I ask.

"We havent done that in forever!" She says and smiles, then nods. I grab her hand and lead her to the bathroom.

We stripped and got underneath the warm water.

She looked beautiful, just like she always does.

"Youre my world.." I whispered.

"Youre my world as well..." She whispers and leans up and kisses me.

I loved her with all my heart,

And I wasnt ready to lose her.
