"Hannah your grandma is cool as shit." Savannah laughs, Will agreeing with her as they followed me all the way over to the concession stand to get some nachos and a soda.
Gram ended up giving us at least four brownies each, she didn't even save any for herself. Then after that, she had some weed left over that she rolled into a blunt and smoked with us. So right now, we were stoned out of our minds, walking around and laughing at people at the football game. I hadn't seen Collin yet though.
"I know- two nachos and mountain dews please- she is really cool." I laugh, handing the lady all of our money. I had the munchies really bad at the moment, and after I had gotten my tummy all full, I would eventually want a nap which would suck because the game didn't end until waaaaaay later.
Me, Savannah and Will found a quiet place to chill out and eat our nachos. We had a pretty good view of the game from here, but I wasn't even paying attention to it. I never really got into football because half of the time, I had no idea what was going on.
All of the sudden, a tall, redheaded boy with big muscles comes up behind us, grabbing Wills hips and making him squeal and practically jump right out of his skin. "Matt." He whines, turning around and standing up on his tip toes just to give the redhead a kiss. I'm guessing that was his, extremely hot boyfriend. You go Will.
"Get a room." Savannah groans, sort of joking around with them but at the same time she meant it. Was she jealous? Surely not, she was pretty enough to get any guy or girl that she wanted too. Plus she was really fun to hang around, you would never get bored because she always kept things exciting.
I wondered how long Matt and Will had been together, and how long Savannah had been third wheeling it with them. Probably every time Savannah and Will went to hang out, Matt would show up and Savannah got third wheeled. She was probably tired of it by now. I mean, I would be too if I was in her place. Third wheeling gets pretty old, trust me. I know.
Will giggled at Savannahs smart remark, shaking his head. I guess that's how they got along, joking around with each other. "Me and Matt are going over to his place, we will see you later." He tells us, tossing his keys at Savannah and grabbing his boyfriends hand before walking off. Now it was just me and Savannah.
A few minutes later, me and Savannah decided to sit down in the grass, staring off into space. "So-" I was about to start a conversation, to break the awkward silence but Savannah interrupted me. "Hannah Hannah look over there!" She squealed, pointing over to a boy with brown, shaggy hair and braces. That must be Savannahs crush.
I could tell how badly she wanted to go over there and talk to him, but was too shy. I didn't understand why. She was funny and really pretty, all she had to do was say hey and she would probably have that poor boy wrapped around her finger. All she needed was a little push, someone to give her that extra boost she needed to go talk to him and that person was going to be me.
"We are going to go talk to him then." I tell Savannah, grabbing her hand as I stood up, smiling at her. Her eyes widened and she began to shake her head furiously but it was too late. I was already dragging her over to where he was standing alone. She would thank me for this later.
This Taylor kid looked like a real douche, but I was willing to talk to him, and get him to talk to Savannah, only because she really liked him. If she didn't like him, I wouldn't go anywhere near him for the simple fact that I hate people.
"Hey, this is my friend Savannah and she really likes you. Talk to her." I say quickly, pushing Savannah towards him and walking off. As I'm walking off I can hear them starting to talk to each other. Her telling him that I was crazy, him telling her that she was such a cutie. I decided to leave them alone for a bit, I'd find Savannah later when it was time to leave.
I walk back to where we were sitting a few minutes ago. I was all alone now. Will went off with Matt, Savannah was chatting and getting to know Taylor and I was just here, sitting in the grass, bored half to death. At least my friends were happy- wait did I call them my friends? Well, I guess they were my friends but we still weren't that close.
After awhile, I pulled out my phone to check the time. It was getting close too eleven and I was extremely tired at this point. I was probably going to fall asleep any minute now. I had no idea where Savannah and Taylor had went off too, hopefully somewhere close. Gram was probably asleep too, so there was no way I was going to get her to come get me.
All of the sudden, a boys voice snaps me back to reality and I'm wide awake. "Hey, aren't you the new girl?" I hear them ask and I nod, turning my head around slightly to get a look at them and I could not believe my eyes.
