This chapter is for Young_Savannah_
(Just to make this clear, this chapter jumps back in time to when Hannah told Savannah she was going to walk herself home)
Savannah's POV.
I was just a bit worried about Hannah. It was really dark, really late and I think that it would be storming anytime now. I didn't know Hannah very well, but we had kind of gotten closer since today. Now she was acting distant for some odd reason but I wasn't going to pry it out of her.
"I don't need a ride home, I'll just walk home." She mumbles, starting to walk off. I wasn't going to object to it. She's probably been through a lot lately and just needed some time to herself, some time to think. I was the exact same way when I came here in eighth grade.
I tried not to worry too much when I walked over to Taylor's car with him. Collin was standing by his car, waiting for the both of us. "I'll take you home since both of your friends are already gone." He says, smiling and opening the passenger side door for me. He was such a sweetheart.
Collin hopped into the back of Taylor's car, smiling at me as Taylor got into the drivers side of the car, starting it up. If only Hannah were here right now and she didn't want to walk home. She would be stuck in the back of the car with Collin, which she would have enjoyed a lot.
After a little while of being in the car, Collin begged us to slow down beside of this girl that was walking alone on the side of the road. The closer that we got, I realized that it was Hannah. He rolls down the back window, calling out to her. "Need a ride dude?" He asks her and she shakes her head. He sighs, jumping out of the car and starting to walk with her.
Taylor chuckles, shaking his head and pulling off. I guessed that he was just going to let Hannah and Collin walk home in the pouring down rain. Well, there was no way that we could stop them. "He's so stubborn sometimes." He mumbles, taking his right hand and placing it on the inside of my thigh.
I pressed my lips together, my face getting all warm, and my stomach turning. What was he doing? I take a deep breath acting like I didn't even notice it, that is... Until he squeezed my thigh. Oh my. He needs to cut it out, right now. "Am I making you uncomfortable?" He asks me, looking over at me with a smirk on his face. I shook my head, I wasn't uncomfortable, I just wasn't used to this.
***
My heart was beating almost out of my chest. He had talked me into coming over to his place and hanging out, maybe even staying the night. He was just so sweet and so charming that there was no way on earth that I could say no to him. I wasn't good at saying no anyway.
He comes back downstairs and a pair of boxers. Just a pair of boxers. My eyes widened and my face started to get all red as I stared at him. "Here." He smiles, handing me a T-shirt and some sweatpants to sleep in. "You can go change in the bathroom."
I nod, walking over to the bathroom. Was I really going to stay the night with him? Was this really a good idea? I shouldn't be stressing out over it so much. Nothing was going to happen, right? I get done changing and walk back out to the living room, sitting down on the couch beside of Taylor. I couldn't believe that we were actually dating. He was mine and I was his. I was so extremely happy!
That night, we ended up watching a movie, it was actually finding nemo, one that I hadn't seen in forever. Taylor kept randomly singing "just keep swimming" throughout the whole entire movie and I had to shut him up a few times. After the movie, we talked for quite a bit. I learned that he loved football and had a soft spot for animals. I also learned that he had a crazy family life, so he moved out. Then, we made ice cream sundaes, which got really messy, there was ice cream everywhere. We ate and ate and ate a bunch too, then eventually I fell asleep wrapped up in his arms on his couch. It was an amazing night and honestly, I would do it over and over again.
